Title: Potential Scam
Post by: botany on December 24, 2014, 06:41:59 AM
Can we report potential scam reports, where there has been no actual loss?

I have an instance where 2 alt accounts are talking to each other, with one of them offering to be an escrow in a ponzi scheme. This gets accepted by the other alt, creating an impression of support. Although the scheme failed and nobody lost money (hence no negative feedback to any of the accounts), I believe that this warrants negative feedback.

Thoughts?

Yes, you can post your suspicions of potential or attempted scams here. In fact, it's better to warm people before the scam actually happens rather than wait for it to be successful. Just make sure you post all the evidence you have and be prepared for a backlash if you're wrong  :D.

Thanks. I will do that.
To my mind, using an alt as an escrow and trying to build trust warrants negative feedback from somebody in the default list.
I will post the evidence I have.
