Title: The bull run has not begun.
Post by: Ibian on December 24, 2014, 01:56:40 PM
Getting excited over $2 swings must be some sort of joke. I have stopped buying. Expecting another sub-300 drop.

If it goes up a few bucks people scream "MOOOOON!!!"

If it goes down a few bucks people scream "SELL SELL SELL!!!"

Says a lot about what kind of people they are.

Point is we have basically been in a 300 to 400 range for over 3 months... so now we are in the bottom or the range... buy now or cry later  :-*

Agreed. I really cannot wait til we see some serious movements. Most people have forgotten about $50+ moves in hours.

fewcoins, did you become a bull before or after you were screaming from the rooftops that bitcoin was going to crash to zero?

"Because I am fewcoins, which has spammed these boards over and over again about the imminent doom of Bitcoin. Until I decided to buy: at that point I started spamming in the other direction. I am fewcoins."

It held over 300 last weekend which I took as a good sign, and was looking to see if there was any mid week rally. This has not happened and we are back to testing 300 again. I think we may break below it this weekend.

Pardon? I believe we haven't stabilized yet, nor has there been any long term stability so far. The general trend is still moving south in an ever more manipulated market. I will agree that the bear market is over if we by April still hover around the same price level. Until then, nothing can be said with certainty.

Actually if we resist 300 or even 270 and climb back to 450 or greater, the bear market is likely over.

When the price is low like it is now human psychology works against you. You would have killed for 320 dollar bitcoins a year ago.

Yes, actually we're accustomed to see this kind of scenario on this forum. But I think that price raise or drop of 2$ is not the end of the world. We have to see an high difference than this to be worried  ;D

Just be patient. Once it goes up, it will never stop. Looking at the trend I expect the price to retrace once it reach 350 and after that going back up again. Just buy in small amounts so that you can average up the price

At these price levels selling to buy back lower is unlikely to yield significant profits ...

Lol, inca's second post :D

When it goes up it may well pass 1000$ and go up more but there will be other set backs with the price going back to find new lows except the new lows should be much higher than the current price

totally agree.

I don't want to see all these thread open for this bull-trap!

Open thread when there will be 3 days row with 10% rise at least!

Yes, I see a few threads like this made by members that just bought and are looking to sell after the price rises 5%

Big hands want to enter big time, so sit down and relax, we may see it go lower. I hope it goes sub 50 so I can get a couple million dollar loan on there and retire in 10 years.

No you don't. That would mean something has gone seriously wrong. Something beyond mere price manipulation.

The best price to buy will probably be in the low $400 range (but not below that) because once the price hits this level it will likely breakout upwards and potentially rise significantly above that.

Bulltraps aren't happening because whales don't want to destroy bull sentiment until we confirm the floor price.

Whales pushed the market down into its current state, and they will be pumping hard when they know they hit the hard floor

The bulls finally stopped running & faced their problems.
