I have created a python script that will create a new bootstrap.dat every day, So no more waiting for that bitcoin client to sync via a slow server! direct downloads for you people wanting it. I have often wanted this and its not available. You can download the latest bootstrap from http://94.23.0.211/bootstraps/ (http://94.23.0.211/bootstraps/) I will be adding checksum support so you can confirm file integrity/validity. The new version of Core is set to come out in late January, and it's putting to rest the need for a bootstrap file altogether. Or so I've read.
