Title: [BOUNTY] [50 mBTC] Escrow service name Post by: clemage on December 27, 2014, 02:58:17 PM Hi,
in my previous post (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=900567.msg9906704#msg9906704), we were searching partners for our multisig escrow service. The important thing to notice for the name is that we plan to "allow API and make the use of escrow as simple as checking a box while sending bitcoin". Which means that some merchants will be able to accept payments through our multisig escrow. We are now offering a 50mBTC bounty to whom will come up with the commercial name we will choose. To get the bounty, first, vote here (http://poll.lab.io/R3tv67Z0z_dgBWgJWUgLag). Then explain your choice here and put your BTC address if not already in your signature. If we choose one name given by someone in this forum, we will give him the 50mBTC bounty. If we choose one name already present in the poll, we will select a random poster who voted for this name*. PS : We are still looking for partners (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=900567.msg9906704#msg9906704). *We will use the nonce of the last block as a random generator, chosen_user = last_nonce % number_voters_for_this_name + 1 Title: Re: [BOUNTY] [50 mBTC] Escrow service name Post by: LOBSTER on December 27, 2014, 03:10:20 PM Here are my ideas:

So I voted "BPaySafe". B is a great suggestion of "Be..." as in "Be safe. The Safe is all clear, and Pay is also introduced, while being short and kind of catchy, singy-songy, easy to remember. Other choices in the voting poll were to my POV either unclear, reminding of other services or enterprises, etc. My BTC address: 1BazaKTkFsbcmmCP7JsJoBhfZ1frMPyCX9 Cheers, S. Title: Re: [BOUNTY] [50 mBTC] Escrow service name Post by: jbrnt on December 27, 2014, 06:56:39 PM I don't like the "B" in "BPaySafe", doesn't sound right. How about:

It's catchy, and it describes the service too: a secure escrow service.

S.T. stands for secure trust, and the name can become common lingo based on its simplicity. As in "we use S.T. so there will be no shenanigans concerning our sale". Congratulations to the winner. Now my suggestion appeared to be the least liked. Hey, can't nail them all. :P YABE sounds to me a bit pseudoreligious, but again, my perceptions do not have to be everyone's. Besides that, our everyday language is populated by mystic, religious evocations. S.
