I voted for messi!

Long time Messi was the best player on the planet (and Barcelona the best club)!
The last few years Ronaldo and Real rising and take the throne from Barcelona.
Because of this I vote for Ronaldo.

I dont like neither of both... does that counts?....

It's a really tough choice: I'm with messi on this....but we are talking about the best two players in the world by far.

Individual talent = Ronaldo but the ability to create something from nothing would have to be Messi.

They both have their strengths and weaknesses. Top 2 in the world.

He worked a lot to get where he is now and had some health problems when he was young.Although he succeded to become the BEST football player in the WORLD!!

Yeah i think messi overall but going on more recent and more rounded ability i would choose ronaldo now

Ronaldo is great don't get me wrong, but Messi is the best in the world easily. Ronaldo is too much of a crybaby when he doesn't get his own way and Messi just seems far ahead of Ronaldo despite his greatness.

I prefer Messi, personally. He's a much stronger player imo.

Let's see if Ronaldo can win again next year to see a bit more competition (or his dissapointed face again  :D.).

I'm already for years a big fan of the way of football he plays.
I like Ronaldo as well, but Messi was first.

CR is physically superior. Faster, stronger, better stamina. The best shoots and his dribbling is great but not at the level of Messi. Messi is the skill god.

i voted for Ronaldo and there is 1 simple reason for that:

Ronaldo played premier league AND primera division and dominated in both.

Messi only played Barcelona....fullstop

Messi in current form is beyond amazing. I don't think he will ever go to England, which I totally understand. Barcelona is build around Messi.

Never really loved CR but admired Messi's magic but my vote (yeah, i'm surprised as well) is going to CR since i'm convinced he's a better person.

I prefer Ronaldo and his playing style AND the fact he did play in a defensive league (Premier League) and dominated there.

Ronaldo is a striker with good skills. Messi on the other hand is a complete player. He can dribble, make assists and even score a goal.
