Title: Need Help Choosing Ad Providers
Post by: Sarthak on January 02, 2015, 09:42:53 AM
I am Planning to open a Faucet that will be
www.chancebits.com but I don't know which ad provider should I choose. It will be a hourly faucet and providers like a-ads count 1 impression as :
1 imp. = 1 unique visit per day
So it wouldn't be profitable as I will have to visitors every hour! Any Help/Suggestion Appreciated! Thanks!

P.S. The Website is not even started but will start tomorrow or the day after tomorrow.
;D

In my opinion, I can recommend Google AdSense. They pay fair and constantly...I had some issues with other ad networks from AdClix etc. - always be carefull!

Try bee-ads.com, where the advertisers can bid on your ad-slot and pay you in BTC..

And yeah, Google AdSense is the most fair one

I don't know it because I don't run a faucet. I just suggested AdSense because I made the best experience with it.

It's a bit of a gray area. Adsense ads on a regular faucet are technically against the TOS. However, Freebitco.in uses adsense by it being a Bitcoin game because it has it's multiplier dice game.

You can run adsense on your site, as google doesn't do any manual checks until they have a reason to. The problem would be that if you started getting a large amount of clicks or earning a large amount of money, chances are your site would be checked and banned.

I remember hearing that https://bitmedia.io had similar rates to Adsense, I'm not too sure though. Most of the ad networks I posted above can pay pretty well, however they depend on people bidding on your ad space.

What do they do if your site gets banned?

Do they lock your funds or do they just cancel your partnership with them according to the affected domain?

As far as I know, they close your account and send your balance back to advertisers. You might be able to re-register, I'm unsure.

@Lobster thanks for clarifying, dont know why I thought that You have a faucet :)

@Minifrij like always jumping in with good advice :) very much appreciated.

lets see if I got You right. do You mean that if I have a so called game site and add a faucet after I got adsense acception? or I have a faucet and add a game and I will be accepted by adsense because of the game? the game (whatever game) I want to add will be only for faucet visitors and they cant lose anything, they only can win satoshis.
I know I am asking a lot :) but I would like to have adsense if I have a faucet

Freebitco.in has had both a faucet and a multiplier game from the beginning. Like I said, as far as I know your site is not manually confirmed before you can put adsense on it, it's only if you start generating a large amount of money that they manually check your site. Here is the post that wetsuit made that I am referencing - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=320959.msg9654803#msg9654803

If you place adsense on your site, you should have it going for a decent amount of time before you get checked.

It's little bit strange.I was read that faucet is against adsense TOS but when I had my first faucet (sold already) I tried to open adsense account with my faucet and after two times I get my account approval.Problem was that content was not enough. When I add more, I get approval so it was manual check if I right.
So question is, why they approval your account if it against TOS?

It could have been because they did not inspect your website thoroughly enough. I am sure that the people who are in charge of approving websites for AdSense have a very big backlog, so they have to work fast to clear it off. They might only do a quick preliminary check of the website by doing things like making sure there is enough content and ensuring none of it is duplicated from other websites. They may not have enough time to see what your website is all about.

Google AdSense is best for faucets.

If you want to get banned when it's time to get a payout (or prior to it), you're absolutely right.
