Hi guys,

as all of you seen in the last months the Bitcoin Price is still increasing. And many other altcoins too. Also the upcoming Regulations seems to be not so healthy for the BTC.
So I thought: Wouldn't it be an Idea that we all together could decide us for a new 'King of cryptocurrencies', or just a new 'King of Altcoins"?
Maybe ohne with a small total amount of coins.
If all of us buys in on one Altcoin which would be the winner of this poll, than we would create a very big new major alt.
Or would you left the market completely for Company-Driven Altcoins? Like as the  PayCoin-Scam?!
If you don't find your favourite altcoin in the List, then just write and I would put it in the poll.
Everybody has three Votes and this Voting should end at the end of january.

Just One thing: Please don't post some unmineable Crap and ICO-Scams.
A continued PoW is a musthave, because this gives the coin more Value.

all the coins are devs who think a good idea is enough to push a coin forward. It takes more than that.

Yes. Implementation, revision and new market exploration are the "more" that few devs stick around for. Follow through is probably the biggest reason coins fail. If people just DO what they say they're going to then something would actually happen. I say stop waiting for others' follow through and take some initiative ourselves.

As far as coins go... we've done almost everything wrong.  But we are still almost a year old and manage to be listed on two exchanges. 

There have been piles of other altcoins who have done far more things right then Coino, and they are long gone already. 

It makes me wonder how crazy the world is... but at least we have a cool name!

For mining, Feathercoin as been one of the best lately, but that is almost over. After their algorithm change, their price rose dramatically and it became very profitable to mine. The price has been in a steady decline however, and it looks like the FTC gravy train is almost over. As far as all-around coin of the future, I still have to say bitcoin, at least until some coin makes a serious challenge to their top position.

URO, BLK, VTC, NXT, DRK, LTC

If you add Sterlingcoin (SLG) and Mintcoin (MINT) I'd vote:

- Darkcoin (DRK)
- Sterlingcoin (SLG)
- Mintcoin (MINT)

Pure PoS alt. coins at around 5% interest FTW imho. PoW is half-way to becoming centralized.

However, PoW is still the best way to do 'Anonymous Digital Cash', so I'll make an exception for DRK.   8)

For sure Magi (XMG). While you need to continuously invest in new and fast hardware to mine other coins, Magi goes the other way. The less the total hashrate, the higher the block reward.

Imagine a currency that you can mine with a usual home computer, a tablet, a raspi, a PS3 / Wii or even a smartphone. That's a target that Magi tries to achieve.
