Title: Work for Bitcoin? Any suggestions?
Post by: pumpitloud on January 03, 2015, 11:17:05 PM
I had someone ask me the other day where they can do online work for Bitcoin and realised I don't even know anywhere that offers this? After some research I saw they are offering small jobs at http://www.cryptotradenetwork.com (http://www.cryptotradenetwork.com) which is sort of advertising for their social network, but does anyone know any other places? I'm curious to see if there is an opportunity for a new start up here.

That's a joke website.  Is it maybe yours?   :-\

No & I don't think it is at all. Seems to have a growing community. I'm at fairpumps.net (http://fairpumps.net).

A lot of this 'work' will be either very low paying or be scams, be very careful and do your research before you offer any of your time for them, so far signature payments seem to be the only thing worthwhile around here so far I've found, there are cases though where people have been making legitimate deals and so on with their skills for bitcoin, it's just a matter of finding trustworthy people.

It's a bit like those work at home spam advertisements and so on, the people who are telling you to go for it are probably getting paid to or are the creators of the operations themselves trying to honeypot people in, demanding escrow is always a great way to avoid being scammed in Bitcoin and make sure it's someone you trust or is well known that is holding the money.

is there not a dedicated website for Bitcoin Jobs though? If not might be worth setting one up. Thats what i'm thinking.

It would be nice if we have a bitcoin site dedicated for freelancers.

I don't know of any specific websites but there is a dedicated board on Reddit where people advertise jobs for BTC. Don't forget to read the info in the sidebar.
http://www.reddit.com/r/Jobs4Bitcoins/new/
You might also want to follow this guy on twitter  @Jobs_4_Bitcoins
Good luck!  :)

Maybe sell some eBooks and/or tutorials for Bitcoin. Make your own idea, don't copy others
