Can you call Skrill and have the transaction reversed? I always thought Skrill had a high rate of those drawbacks.

Also, he already has open scam accusations. You didn't even bother with escrow?

Skrill cannot reverse regular skrill transfers.

Did some DD on his posts but did not find the important ones.

you could always check his trust rating, he have 3 scam accusations there. though all of it all untrusted feedbacks, it doesn't mean it's not proven.

just saying, in case you didn't know about the trust system

I was not aware of how to properly use the trust system, it wasnt entirely obvious to a newbie actually since one has to click to see the negative feedback for this user.

I wish I can't can give you a link to a tutorial or something, but for the life of me I can't find such thread..

so I'll just explain this very briefly. you probably already figured it out but whatever.

when people who are not in your trust network (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=trust) leave a feedback on someone, it will appear as an untrusted feedback.
as you are a new member, you must have your trust setting as default right now. so whenever someone that is listed on the DefaultTrust list leave a negative feedback to some poor soul, you'll see their trust rating glows red.  :P

I contacted Tomatocage and he marked him for a scammer since this isn't the first report about it. The red trust and the trade with extreme caution should now prevent this account user from scamming again. Sorry again for your loss OP.
