Won't help much, we've got a pretty entrenched population of drama parasites already. Ostensibly on both sides of the bull/bear divide, although really the ones I mean don't care which way the price goes - they're just here for the sick pleasure of poking holes in each other and seeing who cries first. While the Generalised Asshole Proportionality Exponent has historically been inversely correlated with price, most experienced traders have found that assholes follow price rather than vice versa, so it is not a very useful indicator. :)

In other words, there are bigger forces at work here. Some big industries do not want to lose to the better technology of Bitcoin and are willing to pay trolls to save their soon to be extinct technology.

No need to answer, you will come up with whatever excuse as to why you are on a website for Bitcoin trying to do whatever it is you think you are trying to do. I am glad that the free market is alive and well when it comes to whatever industry is funding whatever it is you do in the posts I fly past.

If Bitcoin were ever under attack by fiat and banking to the point where rich bitcoiners were willing to pay me to troll whatever the fuck sites that fiat users collaborate on, I too would be more than willing to take such payment if they paid well enough. I would not, however, be willing to waste my life doing so for free. That would be pure insanity of which I would immediately seek professional help upon such a realization.

There must be quite a few people who bought near $1000 and have been angry the entire slide down, likely selling for a loss at some point. I can see them hating Bitcoin with a passion. Their get rich quick scheme failed hard.

To add to it, these are likely people with no love of the technology and it's potential. The sort of people who jumped aboard only on the wild ride upwards were interested in only one thing.

Speculation: Most (bear)trolls are from the financial world. Most permabulls are techies.

Just talked to the house guy today actually.  Turns out the joke's on you, he used his Bitcoin to open a massive leveraged position in the 600's and closed it just this morning.  Apparently he not only still has his original capital, but a few hundred thousand dollars worth of Bitcoin more in his stash.

Who knew!?

To be fair to this guy it is possible that he somehow invested his bitcoin in something that would generate more returns measured in bitcoin then the priced has declined in terms of dollars. Or he could have decided that he wanted to open a short position and now has profited handsomely from the price declines
