Actually, for that split second, she or he will feel like there’s hope in the world again.

Well many altcoins aren't doing any worse than Bitcoin right now.  So you never know.

Fiat money is loaned with interest, so it actually corresponds to a debt that exceeds its “face value” (i.e., the principal).

Given enough attention any coin would have fallen with the recent crash. Unobtanium is not special but lucky.

we can always bargain hunt later back to crypto as everything seems to be going down.

we can always bargain hunt later back to crypto as everything seems to be going down.

Code:
𝑆 = −𝐴(𝑡) − (−𝐴(0)) = −𝐴(𝑡) + 𝐴(0) ≟ 𝐴(0) − 𝐴(𝑡)

If something is worth less debt, is it not more valuable (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Compound_interest#Compound_Interest)?

Look over the linked material and then the equation.

ok.  does that help get more BTC?  ;D

honestly too lazy to figure what you're saying.  that and i'm too slow.

The "𝑆" is the actual value of one's fiat gains from one's (let's say) "crypto" holdings, the "−𝐴(𝑡)" is the actual value of the coins' fiat value at a given time (i.e., it is negative the-fiat-money's-face-value-and-interest), and "−𝐴(0)" is the actual value of the coins' fiat value when the coins were first acquired.

Bitcoin is losing it's value on daily basis. It's the most expensive digital currency..what did they expect? What goes up must come down.

2015: Rise of alts

This is exactly what I guess, too!

Bitcoin "could be" about to die. And what happens then? Do you think everything is over? No! An alt will rise and takes bitcoins place.

I don't think it has to take its place per say but both will exist. Bitcoin was just one huge pump and those who pumped cashed it out at the top and now it's just declining. It'll probably reach $10 in next 12 months.

Really though. The alts may finally do what they set out to do.

That's the price professor bitcorn predicted, and he got it wrong. And whoever cashed out at the top probably got Goxed.

$10? That's a stretch, I doubt it will get that low. But if it does, hell I feel bad investing now when it's still 'considerably' low now. But if it goes down to that low, time to invest highly in altcoins.

Yeah but only 15 coins mined per day...makes it almost impossible to crash the price for whole unit if u need x whole blocks to sell one uno.

If BTC drops to $10, it is going to die. Too many companies, investors, and miners will have been hurt by what would be a 99% decline from its height and will have been in exodus for some time at this point. My guess is that it would go back to being used by only a small following of ideological enthusiasts.

If you're willing to take the risk on a new currency and invest in the first place, you should have the guts to hold your coins no matter how bleak it seems.

I am yet to complete my research but if you look at the price vs time charts of all alt coins you will notice a certain pattern repeating. Check this out for yourself if you wish to understand what the buyers/holders of most alt coins have been doing.
