I'm not threatening demise... If you read carefully, I'm offering a strategy to make more money... I said "buy back in when it's around $100".

Translated - "I Want to buy in at $100, so can you all please panic now and jump ship based on my say so, so that I have a better chance at profiting from your fear".

You know what though, I always suspected that around $260 would be a good 'final bottom' for Bitcoin. People may have accused me of 'inciting panic so that I can buy back in at a much lower price', yet now that we are right back down at the price I picked as a likely final bottom, I aint interested in putting a single penny into Bitcoin.

The price already stopped being fall down, so it's impossible bitcoin price to fall down at $100 level
If you want to buy, do it now before the price went up

It's not crashed in price considering bitstamp looks like it got hacked. Perhaps it's hit the bottom.

Ive been here since 2011 (not with this account, forgot my old one), BTC was about 60c when I first noticed it.  - I remember "OMG! Bitcoin has achieved *parity with the US$ !11!",
I mined about a  half a coin with my own video card (back when that was possible and the cuda miner software client  first  came out) just to have actually mined my own. Ive even downloaded and perused the Bitcoin source code myself, just to have a look around a get a feel for it, Im only average at C code, but I can read it well enough to understand whats going on.   I do Python and Assembly normally.

I've quietly sat through the run ups and drop backs to $3, $12, $32, $90, $266, $1200 and gradually increased my stash whenever I had some spare cash to punt on a risky long shot, but one with a practically infinite upside and a limited downside.

Ive bought quite a bit of stuff with Bitcoin, using prepaid VISA cards for anything I couldnt pay for directly in BTC, and on occasion even managed to buy a card loaded with $ when the BTC was high.

I couldnt resist temptaion, and sold a  very small percentage when they were just over $1000, and made my total investment back many times over.

And all throughout that time, I have seen more bears, trolls and flat out idiots come and go than you would believe.  I remember when Proudhon was *the uber-bear in here, and saying how ridiculously overvalued BTC was at $10, and that his analysis was that bitcoin was really worth about a dollar or so.     Where's he today ?

So, Doomsayers and Chicken Littles and other johnny-come-lately's.  Flap your wings, cluck and scream,  and run around in circles all you like, its mere entertainment to me,  

Bitcoin isnt a get-rich-quick scheme, any more than buying Shares in Microsoft was in 1986 (I was there)..  I see it as investing in Technology that will hopefully (likely) change the world for the better.   It might take 10 or 20 years, who knows?

But  Fiat currencies *all have one thing in common.  they *ALL eventually FAIL.  Bitcoin is something *new.  It might succeeed, it might not,..  I *DO know that there is nothing with more potential promise out there right now.  This is the best new e-money tech that has come along in ages.   Its worth a punt, and some dedicated support, not a quick pump'n'dump to try and squeeze out a little cash like most of you clowns are trying to do with it.

So Cluck away Chickens,  those with vision, understanding and persistence  will always triumph in the end.

You would not believe but he's still here, and an uber-bull since the April's run to $265 :) I miss him being a bear though, new crop of bears, with some rare exceptions, are mostly much less intelligent and fascinating - didn't even have to use Ignore button once in 2011, but now it's a necessity, as they just continue reposting repetitive low quality FUD with no signs of wit or thought...

I miss proudhon, IIRC he discarded his bear garb for a while in the last run-up, or maybe during one in Apr 2013.

I'm fine thanks. You, btw, although an ass most of the time, are not part of the fallling crowd and one of the bears with a point. Such bears do turn bulls when they see through their own scare :)

Not sure.  None of the permabulls who were predicting $10K coins by 2015 disappeared, have they?
