Title: Cerro Alegre Hotel: Valparaiso, Chile
Post by: CerroAlegre on January 05, 2015, 04:46:47 PM
We would like to gauge the interest in crowdfunding a hotel in Chile in exchange for revenue equity. We are open to advice on the best medium to do so. We are curious of the potential of this bitcoin ecosystem to raise funds. We are curious of the general legal compliance we will have to weigh, and understand we will have to do our own leg work on how to manage the regulatory environment locally in Chile. If this is entirely not viable through hosting bitcoin equity, we would greatly appreciate your opinion as to why.

The hotel would be a subsidiary or sister company to a long established Real Estate firm which will act as managers. The Hotel will include 40 rooms not including special suites, a restaurant to seat 80 at anyone time, three venues for commercial rentals, and subterranean parking. The land is already owned and the architectural studies and work are complete. There are existing investors. and the hotel would be built in the heart of the largest beach city of Valparaiso, Chile. The first target of raising funds to begin is $1.2 million dollars for 2015, with an ultimate target of $4 million over the next three years, not necessarily expected from any bitcoin users.

Thank you for your interest and advice

I thought it would be fun to be the jaded old-timers here, but it rings a bit hollow

How is GGC going these days and are they still raising funds from people moving there or from those investing in the organic farm? It seemed promising at one time, but ya know.

if there is anything to add or recommend we have notifications sent to our email, when this is replied to or we are messaged.
