It was going all well untill your decided to end this with a threat.

I am sure in our own way we are all possible to rain down "HELL" on somebody.
Fortunately enough i dont have to call somebody ;)

There are minors on this forum who are actively participating in this community.

Is this the example you want to set for them.

I suggest removing the last part and good luck with your venture.

Regards

Duke

I guess I could get an article made and get it distributed. The results vary, but I know it is read by thousands. Pm me if you're willing to work with me and give me all the information needed for a press release. Definitely mentioning bitcoin would already stir up something.

You know, i though long and hard about your comment. Especially as you mentioned minors. And after a lot of careful consideration, the answer is yes, it is the example that should be set for them. Too many times people, minors included jump in blindly and put trust where it should not be. Especially in a situation like mine where i am targeting the services of one time shady characters directly, they need to be made aware up front that there is a strong possibility of recourse if they think they are going to turn me into their next victim when i am offering them a legitimate way to put their skills to use.

I truly do respect your opinion Duke, and i did think long and hard about it, but in the end, what i wrote is a "warning" not a threat. You dont get mad at your toaster oven because it says "can cause burns" on the bottom as if it were threatening to burn you, and i dont feel that i am in the wrong for warning "hell will rain down if you try to make me a victim" when working withing a select group of people who have already made victims out of thousands of people.

Again, i appreciate your opinion, and thank you for voicing it. It probably was something that needed a second consideration, but in the end, i am going to stand behind my decision.

Again, its not a threat, its a warning, please read the above.

Yeah, except it was a threat. An empty and childish one, but a threat nonetheless.

Guys, let it go, he was just stressing his need for someone to be serious about this offer, which is understandable given his exclusivity, I would probably do the same if I had that past.  I have seen his work and it is beautiful, and would commission a piece myself if I thought I could afford it. lol.  So let the art speak for itself and give the guy a break about his posts.

Not doubting his work what so ever.

Have worked with him in the past and was a positive experience.

Closing the thread before it turns into 20 pages of peoples opinions of my methodology.

(You have to press the "lock thread" button to lock the thread; putting {CLOSED} in the title is not sufficient to prevent others from posting)

You might want to brush up on your English there mate, i think you missed the part where i was recruiting marketers for a non-coin related project. I guess par for the course, you never get the whole story or due any amount of diligence before you start to fire off at the mouth.  ;D

Here has been my experience if anyone cares to know.....  I commissioned coin #9 from WoodCollector.  I gave him an initial payment of 1 btc.  Three days later, all this happens. The deal I agreed upon, it was clear that I was signing up for an original piece of art.  I now believe, because of BG4's findings, that there is a good chance I will just get another internet image, so I would like to cancel. I believe I have this right and I should get a full refund, seeing as the original terms of the deal were not met(not authentic artwork).  WC's coins are being misrepresented as original designs, and this is obviously not the case.

WoodCollector, will you honor this refund? The customer says you misrepresented what you were selling, and he wouldn't have bought it had you been honest.

That was posted an hour ago, in case you missed it.
