  • Processor: Intel 4th Gen Core i7-4770 - 3.4 GHz (Turbo Boost Upto 3.9 GHz)
  • Motherboard: MSI Z97 PC Mate
  • Memory: Corsair 8GB DDR3 1600 MHz
  • Storage 1 (For OS/Program Files): SanDisk 128 GB 6 GBPS SSD
  • Storage 2 (For Other Storage): Western Digital Green 1 TB Internal HDD
  • Graphics Card: Sapphire R9 270X 4GB DDR5 DUAL-X OC with BOOST
  • Power Supply: Corsair VS650 650W PSU

Please let me know if these specifications are okay for it.

Comments are greatly appreciated.

4TB SSD is max for Desktop and it would probably cost a shitload

Looks decent enough, what type of games do you plan to play on it?

If you're planning on playing the Far Cry/Crysis/Witcher series type games, you may want to up the Video card to get the best possible experience, otherwise these specs should handle most gaming at above average settings.

Though I don't have enough time to sit and play games for hours, but yeah I would like change my present PC with this sort of specs soon. But yeahh, I want a good and powerful graphics in it. Anyways, isn't the R9 270X a good card ?? I have seen like many sellers selling their R9 270x's here on the forum.

I would agree depending on game and settings might want to relook at card choice depending on budget.  You might check ebay aswell.  If you can get a card that includes purchase proof from when it was originally bought and still has warranty, you might be able to get a good deal.

Card for mining is not necessarily mean it's good for gaming.  The 270 is a good card for less electricity being used.   But you can get quite a bit more powerful depending on what games and settings.

  • Processor: Intel 4th Gen Core i7-4770 - 3.4 GHz (Turbo Boost Upto 3.9 GHz)

  • Memory: Corsair 8GB DDR3 1600 MHz
  • Storage 1 (For OS/Program Files): SanDisk 128 GB 6 GBPS SSD
  • Storage 2 (For Other Storage): Western Digital Green 1 TB Internal HDD
  • Graphics Card: Sapphire R9 270X 4GB DDR5 DUAL-X OC with BOOST
  • Power Supply: Corsair VS650 650W PSU

Please let me know if these specifications are okay for it.

Comments are greatly appreciated.

  • Processor: Intel 4th Gen Core i7-4770 - 3.4 GHz (Turbo Boost Upto 3.9 GHz)

*This CPU is only 4 Cores, you can get for less money a 8 Cores AMD. I have the AMD FX 8350 (8 x 4.0 GHz)
*AMD have today the APU, is like CPU+GPU... it mean you have the cpu and the video card in the same chip.

  • Motherboard: MSI Z97 PC Mate

Always chose a a MoBo based on your CPU... Intel and AMD have diferent sockets, and AMD has AM1, AM2, AM3 and other sockets.

I like the Gigabyte MoBo's because you can get a nice one with a low cost.

Chose a MoBo with 4 ram slots.

  • Memory: Corsair 8GB DDR3 1600 MHz

1600 MHz buzz is too low... now we have the CORSAIR VENGEANCE PRO 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3 2666 MHz AIRFLOW

  • Storage 1 (For OS/Program Files): SanDisk 128 GB 6 GBPS SSD
  • Storage 2 (For Other Storage): Western Digital Green 1 TB Internal HDD

SSD for the OS is a good idea.

  • Graphics Card: Sapphire R9 270X 4GB DDR5 DUAL-X OC with BOOST

Good card, but if you can chose get an AMD sapphire hd serie 9000

  • Power Supply: Corsair VS650 650W PSU

Chose the Supply based on your Video card.

Good look with your new toy, if you have an answer, let me know.

My conclusion: For gaming an i7 is not required so save money for better Graphics card and buy i5 4690K. For Graphics card look if you can afford GTX 970 or GTX 980.

I'd consider going for 16GB. 8GB is probably enough for now, but you should consider 16GB in order to future-proof your rig, you'll need it for new games in the near future.

Storage 1 (For OS/Program Files): SanDisk 128 GB 6 GBPS SSD

I would get a bigger SSD. You won't fit many games on that.

Power Supply: Corsair VS650 650W PSU

650W seems like a little low to me. You can use this website to check if your PSU is powerful enough for your rig:

Not too familiar with modern graphics cards, the rest looks like good stuff though, albeit on the expensive side.[/list]

For today's gaming at least 256-bit graphic cards. Does anyone uses those less powerful? The cheapest 256-bit model is r7 265, so whoever calls himself/herself "a gamer" should consider having something like. Ofc, there's an execption to that rule, but those exceptions are usually expensive :D
