• The group buy won't happen if not at least 5 coins are ordered.
• The group buy will be closed, for new participants, when we hit 20 coins or when this month (January) is over.
• Once the group buy is closed for new participants the final price will be determined, split between the participants and posted.
• Any BTC that is left over (because the package wasn't checked, the BTC value went up, etc) will be evenly distributed between the participants.
• Coins will be shipped as soon as they arrived (if time/weather allows), as soon as you have paid for shipment and as soon as I know the address that they're going to.
• We will be using devthedev's escrow service.
• Don't send BTC to me, send it to the escrow address. Everything that's send to my address will be seen as a donation.

Because that's illegal and they could bust my ass because of that? My package has been checked before and I gave UPS all the information required, including the website at which the prices are displayed, so it's a huge no-go for me.

Besides that, the rules and package checks are more regular now because the Dutch government has finally discovered that people are importing a LOT of cheap stuff from China.

I wish to join for both the 2014 and 2015 edition. So 198 dollars right? I was wondering, because 10 group buyers will be attained, no additonal shipping fees, except for the 7,95 right? Could you give an estimate for the VAT, when my price 198 dollars? If I reserve is it also possible to cancel?

In the previous group buy a coin was €100.92 per coin including import and VAT costs. We know from the previous group buy that we don't have to pay import costs over Kialara's because they are considered art objects, so the price would drop to €96.38 per coin. However, the euro was worth more and more people joined back then so the costs were more spread. Exact prices will be given once the group buy closes.

The calculation's we did last time:

You can cancel your reservation as long as the group buy isn't closed. After that you have to pay up.

We will get a heads up before you close the group buy right, or untill you reach 20 offcourse. Then count me in, hope bitcoin will bounce back a bit ;) So 1 Kialara 2014 and 1 Kialara 2015. Only one thing, what's the return policy with damages?

The quoted BTC amount is 1% higher than it should be to have a buffer against price changes, leftovers because of this will be send back. All prices are rounded up. Not sure what I should think. What if he doesn't show up for another week?

Well, that would leave us with four options as far as I can know:
1. The group buy is cancelled and all funds are returned.
2. We remove BitcoinAccepted from the group buy and split the shipping costs evenly.
3. We remove BitcoinAccepted from the group buy and wait until another person wants in.
4. We remove BitcoinAccepted from the group buy and ask Kialara if he could still do the free shipping (low chance, but might be worth a shot).

I choose option 4. Yet it shouldn't be much of a problem, 8 coins at once is also good business. If he doesn't provide free shipping I'm out, find the coins expensive as it is :) So try 4, then 3 ;). But I don't like it if Kialara doesn´t provide free shipping at eight, bad customer service then..

And I do apologize for the long wait. Max got a huge backlog because of the Chinese company that fucked up, so it took a lot longer than it should.

Same here! Also, don't buy cotton, buy latex. Cotton gloves release cotton particles which will stick on the coin.

I still need to find some way of displaying these coins/slabs. We did have a discussion a while back I recall within a thread on here, but can't seem to find it. I wonder if anyone did find a suitable solution to storing/displaying these..?

Yeah, there was a discussion about it and Max said that he was thinking of creating some way to display it. I made a custom thingy, but it looked horrible. I'm currently using a business card holder to put my Kialara in. It fits, barely, so scratches on the side will happen. However, it looks good. ;D

Well, today the post tried to deliver the coins, just before I got home and just after the rest of my family left the house, so that didn't work out (talk about bad luck). So, they should arrive tomorrow and I'll send them out either on Monday or Tuesday as I won't be home this weekend.

The Kialara is made from stainless steel and aluminium. The silver part of it are the bearings inside of the Kialara itself. Those will be replaced with ceramic balls after #700. I'm glad that you received it so quickly and that you like them. ;D

A post/feedback on my reputation thread is extremely welcome, seeing that it's currently filled with crap from a scammer.

Will do, had to consult google for Bearings, I thought "ontberingen", yet it was "lagers" in Dutch :) Which means I have to open m up to see them too bad :)

I was on collectors fair today and bought one just to try it.
it's nimbus eco 100x100, got it for 8€.
