Anyone know ways to make money on this forum?

There seem to be a few ways but you need to head on over to the Marketplace sub forum. You can sell goods there or offer services. You can even join a signature campaign but most of them seem to be for Members and upwards but you need to be a higher rank to get a decent amount.

On this forum? Signature campaign is the best way, you can get up to 0.1BTC ~ $30 each month for posting.
There are also some contest, like signature design, which can pay up to 0.25BTC. Just check out the Marketplace sections regularly ;)

You can make few Bitcoin from signature campaign(You have to be Full member+ at least ),You can also earn by offering service.

As already stated signature campaigns are by far the best and easiest way to get free bitcoins. Just make sure not to spam or you'll likely get banned. Do you have any skills that you can offer people? If so advertise them in the services section.


Not as a Jnr Member though as op is. Not much you can earn as one but he'll soon rank up within a few months.

Wait for a few months, post regularly and up your rank to full/senior member, You will eventually get there.  ;D

One good way to make money on this forum is by short selling bitcoins. When you believe the price is about to drop, you can choose to sell your bitcoins. If your prediction is accurate and the price does in fact drop, then you will have USD or another currency that you can then use to buy more bitcoins than you had before. You simply have to repeat this over and over successfully and in the end you will have many bitcoins.

And you ask where this forum comes into play in all of this? Well you can use the Economics subforum to read about technical analysis and see what other members think about the future price.

Well the way to get rich is by building a reputation then building some website that holds others bitcoins for them and when you have sufficiently many you get "hacked".

Apart from sig-campaigns you can also stay active and search around the forum for giveaways, contests and work that gets posted in marketplace, sometimes it is really easy to make couple of mbtcs.

Agree with what other said. Signature campaign give you somewhat a 'steady' income in term of Bitcoin (not talking about exchange rate). I once, earned 1 dollars form a giveaway on this forums (not really..).

Yeah, you have to wait untill you have 120 activity points first.

sig campaign is only the safest way to earn bitcoins here coz right now investing in cloud mining and other investments are risky.

Signature campaigns are the best way to make some money. Keep your eyes open for giveaways. BipolarBob does some amazing giveaways, but its all first-come, first-serve. Also, his requirements are normally Member rank and above.

Keep posting to increase your activity and consequently, your member rank. Do ensure that your posts are constructive though. Most signature campaign managers now look at post quality and posting 2 line posts or spamming will lead to them rejecting you for their campaign. Oh yes, ensure that you don't get negative repped too! If you are negative repped, you might as well say goodbye to those future signature campaign earnings  ;D.

How many people does it take to say signature campaign? Oh, yea they all have paid signatures.

This is ones of the main reasons they are in talks about getting rid of signatures all together, no contribution to threads in a positive way but only for the sake of views by posting obvious answers, redundant answers and one liners. A simple search cold have gotten you tons of ways to make money but instead this one thread lead to him just knowing about signature campaigns.

If you have spare bitcoin consider offering it as loans to make a quick up stake. This can be acheived fairly quickly, just be sure not to lend to anyone with neg trust and always secure an escrow.

You need to know how to develop it then market it and you will have small fees and you will be a target of hackers but overall a way to make a lot of money if done right.

But as an exchanger, you have to cope with market fluctuations…that sucks because Bitcoin's price is constantly dropping.

I don't know that is call reddit a forum though, is Facebook a forum?

Tell that to people providing services or having a Bitcoin business that they market on the forum. There are ways to make more money than with the signature campaigns but the signature campaigns is more easily accessible and less risky.

I agree that signature campaign good way to make money on this forum but don't agree with you that sign. campaigns are less risky.
In fact, I was spammed twice by different sign. campaign and never paid.
So, if anybody thinking to join some sig. campaign, please be careful and try to join proven campaigns.

If the signature is from an old successfull bitcoin business, with escrow or paid in advance, you don't really have a risk.

Even the old and successful fall at some point. Can you really complain about the payouts though. You are on this site for bitcoin not for the sig campaigns. You should see it as an added bonus to posting normally and if you dont then im sure the good majority of what you post is just for post count and possible not really beneficial to conversation.

Offering any of your skills in the marketplace that might get you some expect a lot of competition.

Prior to getting upgraded to your next rank, keep checking the Bit-X sig campaign to see if there are openings coming up. It's likely the highest paying campaign and I figure, if I'm gonna read and post in this place anyway, I might as well get something rather than nothing. Bitmixer is another one I tried, they always payed on time but just seemed like I could get more bang for the buck using Bit-X instead.

Your campaign is paying well but Primedice will be paying the same or more and will be open to everyone with sufficient rank.

As I have said earlier in another similar post (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=680291.msg10142314#msg10142314), You can make a few BTC being enrolled in a Sig campaign - summary here (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=615953.0) - and making quality posts contributing to threads.  Making a quality post is not difficult since means only posting like in any forum while respecting forum rules (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=703657.0). Since as in any other forum to be a respected part of the community you have to know the rules; I suggest You to earn some BTC by helping the forum reporting a spam (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=918799.0)!

Sig campaigns is the easiest. If you have coding experience there are usually people that are willing to pay for that.

So what's the deal with the signature campaigns?  I think I've heard of a few instances where people were banned because of it.  Is it bad to use Bitcointalk on a public network where there might be other people who post on this forum?

You put an advert in your signature and get paid to do so. Different campaigns pay different amounts and have different rules. You'll only get banned if you spam rubbish but if you contribute relevantly I think you'll be ok.


Probably not. You can have multiple accounts but I suppose there's a small possibility you could be mistaken as a bad or banned member by the staff but I'm sure they check thoroughly for this stuff.

I've heard sig campaigns are the best way but there are ignore lists roaming around where users share names of other users participating in signature campaigns and automatically ignore them, only un-ignoring them if they see them get quoted a lot, so that is something to consider.

If you are already a member in this forum then they will pay you in a good amount.

Using a signature campaign or selling items in the digital good or physical goods sections, they are some free promotions too sometimes offered by bitcoin sites.
