Yes, it's different because you don't have to be fully committed to the crowdsale by not paying until after the end of the crowd sale. Then you have 12 hours window to complete the payment and receive quecoin.

But what is Quecoin and what is the project developing?

Shouldn't the crowdfund/ICO be considered an investment and not a contribution as stated in the OP?
