Hi there, i've been wondering if bitcoin will still continue to succeed as the king of cryptos or will it die because of the tragedies that happend lately since most of the times there are alot of instances of hacking, fraudaulent, scamming and other altcoins competitors popping up... Can you guys please share your opinion about bitcoin's future? Will bitcoin still prevail?

fall.  then fall some more.  go sideways.  then slowly and gradually rise.  all that hopefully before the end of this year.

It will rise in the late of 2015, when many killer applications are showing up and attracting many ppl.

Although the market is difficult to predict, but I want it to be on the rise.

I can only tell you something for sure and that's the price will rise sooner or later (2016 Q4) when the next halving block reward happens .
for 2015 , I can't really tell , It may rise at the end of the year probably ;D

I just want it to be 'near-constant'...
I know bitcoins can be intended for invesment but, some people loves them for being currency-like too

The best solution will be for it to remain volatile in it's early stages but stabalize at some point in the future after it's risen considerably then it can be both a great investment and a currency.


Except it does fall and has continued to do so for the past year.

BTC future seems nice and good, world wide expanding  ;D

As a bitcoin holder I hope it will rise although nobody know for sure when it does :P

These questions are just too difficult to answer, Bitcoin is a young and small market, with alot of unfortunate negative press, How the media loved jumping on the "closed silkroad" wagon.

Media say bitcoin is only useful for drugs, How the drug runners survived on cash till now I will never know  ::)

All I know is long term bitcoin will be tops, But when and what happened in-between is anyone's guess.

Fall to desperate mode then rise.

Well, if it was easy to predict this, we woul dhave more millionaires. However, I think bitcoin as a technology will prevail .
The price could go either way.

hmmm this is a hard question to answer because its gone up and down so much in the past 12 months so its hard to predict whats gunna happen in the future with BTC. Ide say buy it when its cheap and sit on it for awhile maybe its doing the same thing it did years back is repeating itself?

IMO, Bitcoin will prevail. It always has. But that is not to say that there won't be competitors. Bitcoin can be seen as the Grandfather, while its children bring new and improved versions of what Bitcoin has started.

the grandfather isnt going to die though so i dont think its very valid to compare .......
and many features newer coins "invent" can be worked into the next version of btc

i would much rather have a stash of btc in 10-20yrs than some alt but thats just me .......

Bitcoin is a shitcoin full of bagholders waiting to cash out. Maybe it pumps one more time so the whales can get out. Don't get caught in the dump.

I can say with certainty: yes.

Bitcoin has been held back by the psychological effect of long term price decline and uncertainty about regulation. we have now passed the point of maximum uncertainty and once people realize the price is going up the picture will change and it will change quickly.

I also believe and bet on in this.
