Title: 1795 Time Capsule Contained Alternative Currency To Combat British Rule
Post by: flyup on January 09, 2015, 04:40:10 PM
The time capsule recently opened in Boston:

"One of the coins in the box, a Pine Tree Shilling, was minted in 1652 for the use of Massachusetts’ colonists, without the knowledge of the British monarchy."

What seems new is really old- because it worked the first time.

What I got from that also is. "Paper wallets should be good for centuries, properly stored" but "Etching a plate of silver was a good backup plan too"

Time capsules will not be needed with blockchain/maidsafe technologies. In the future everything will be stored there :)
