You wake up tomorrow morning and you find out your favorite coin has reached $500/coin. What would you do?  ???

Mmmm....seeing as I'm holding a reasonable amount of NXT, I'd probably just explode 2 seconds after I check out CoinMarketCap.
If I survived the news, I'd probably sell a few NXT off, then go and drown myself in a big bath full of Champagne and supermodels.

It should in fact be great news. In our dreams this could happen and should be very great.
I think i should certainly sell a part of it.

If BCR even made it to $500, i'd hire hundreds of professionals from lobbyists to those in researching experimental AI and try to put adoption up to 10% of the world.

I think if Doge ever got to $500 a coin, the world would be a very strange place, so I'd probably retire to the Alaskan Wilderness

I'd be shocked at first. Then - strangely - I'd be kind-of gloomy & reflective for a while. It's actually easier scraping along in grubstake fashion because no-one really cares what you're up to. On the other hand, if you're rich you're watched.

After my bittersweet moodiness has passed, I'd hire a tax lawyer. ;)

An altcoin reaching $500? Sell all of them quickly and might buy some back later on. Bitcoin is at $300, an altcoin reaching $500 is almost certainly a bubble.

It would be a normal day since I expect more than that for MMXIV

Based on my experience I will sell 3/4 of all the coins I hold. Then start a business not related to crypto.

This is quite exciting to think about. I would probably go and pay off debt and credit cards, then go buy a car. It is like going back in time with bitcoin and buying it up for pennies. This is unlikely though as there are so many altcoins and half of them if not more are scams.

good coin. Did you catch the pump a day ago? Someone was trying to pump it higher and he screwed up his order and forgot to put 0 in his sell orders. It went from .01 to 0.50 for few minutes and fluctuated between 0.07 and 0.50. I made some decent profit.

I had a dream few days ago BitBay reaching $1 that caused me to create this thread. I was going maniac in that dream and trying to figure out how to cash out. I think that'll be the hardest thing. If you think about it cashing out 5000 BTC isn't very easy. I guess we'll have to do it in pieces at a time.

If you hold 500,000 of some altcoin and it reaches $500. You're talking billions. I wonder how it'll affect the economy. bunch of people cashing out millions/week. lol. It would be very exciting.

That's a good point. The big question is what type of effect it will have on the economy. Such large movements of money will have large scale economic impacts. It will have rebounding effects on the news and it may cause a ton of money to move into alts. Maybe it will be sustainable for a lot of people. The cars I would buy...

You just click the exchange's sell button and dump the price all the way down to one sat.

I would buy a home, set up a retirement fund and go on a long vacation. But $500/coin is too much wishful thinking

Anything is possible. If we did not all think at least a few coins had that type of potential I doubt we would be sitting around here all day.  ;D

if that happens, judging by my luck, i prolly wouldnt be able to deposit to exchange  until coins are worth nothing.

Do we even have any altcoin that could reach $500 ?  I highly doubt that will happen anytime soon .There is too much competition among altcoins .
