Hi,
We are currently working on a virtual mining game so we want some feedback from the community, how do they see it as an idea and maybe suggest some improvements to be made. Game should be out in BETA before the end of January.

The point of the game is very simple, mining bitcoins, so in order that to be achieved we have in game pools, players can buy equipment or upgrade it or rent... Also the game has altcoins that can be mined and latter sold on in game marketplace for bitcoin, multipools, etc, etc, etc. All in all just like real life mining, end the end point of the game is earning bitcoins, so players will be able to withdraw their coins.

Since there will be in game pools, altcoins, exchanges... we also like to see if there will be interest from coin devs, pool operators, exchanges... to advertise on the site in a way that the coin or exchange or pool will have the same name as their pool with a link to the original pool(advertising)

btc is a good way to go and later on you can accept ALT coins

We think the same, but we also want to know what others think, thank you

it will not use any of your PC resources, it will mine virtual blocks, the first month will start with total 1.5BTC reward that will be splited in blocks, so basicly, the players that have better virtual equipment will get more BTC

There's been a couple of these projects, I think Kluge has a current project doing this.  You may want to start out with an Altcoin to add something different. Darkcoin maybe?

We are considering to make this for altcoin, and we started thread before launch to get feedbacks from BCT members, in my knowledge i haven't seen something like this so far, but even if there is, competition is good

I always have fun with these types of games, and I'd love to see it when it comes out.

a coin similar to this have been develop i think its hunter coin, the only thing that keeping that coin from being known is the unstable blockchain.

huntercoin was a really good idea, but this is not coin, its browser game that pays in BTC

Question: what is the minimal withdrawing?


By the way i like the site design and it is very user friendly :)

The minimum for a manual withdraw(can be requested any time when minimum reached) will be 0.00020000 BTC. 0.00010000 BTC will be deducted from this withdrawal for Bitcoin network fee's. There will be automatic payouts done most probably weekly or maybe every 10th day(will inform for correct timing before start) and the minimum will be 0.00006000 BTC.

If automatic payment is there a fee? And can i cancel the automatic payment?

there is no fee on automatic payment, and yes there will be option to choose if you want auto payments enabled

Pre-registered on the site this might be a good game, the site is very user friendly. keeping an eye on this.

it will count even if online, but from time to time you will need to check the miners, like for example there will be power outages in game, so daily 3% of players will be afected by it and they will need to re-activate their miners to start mining again. the players that will be affected by power outages will be notified by email when it happens so they can react fast

you are mistaken, you don't need to invest anything to earn. you can simply create account and get BTC for free.

not exactly, few hours more, adding something to the miners (power) they will start with 100% and will lose a random amount between 0% and 1% daily, when power reach below 5% miner will need to be repaired ;)

Question: how much btc we earn for a day?

most probably only miner upgrades on first day
Earnings depend on some factors like total players and hashrate
for February is ~0.05357142 daily splited between all site members if no one buys or upgrades hashrate
upgrade price is 0.0001 per GH/s daily unlimited and purchased miners will be more cheaper but number of miners in store will be limited daily
also about the launch time, the server where the game is hosted is on EST time zone so game will launch 00:00 EST, will add timer in site ASAP

EDIT: Enabled deposits and tested on site, they work perfectly.
EDIT2: Next few hours the site might be not responsive, but we need to edit some files to force https

the starter miner kit is enabled for everyone now

My friend Killswitch made a account and received the validate email but he is unable to click on the validate email address button it is unclickable. He says he tried three differnt browsers and all do the same thing

i can't say its enough, those stats are still not publik, but if your miners are activated and they are, yes you will start earning once the game starts

you need to deposit 60000 so you have enough for the deposit to be processed 60000-10000fee = 50000(minimum deposit)

you can use your earnings to buy hashrate!

There are 3 admin account and all have 0GH/s, there is a member that has over 2000 GH/s, i will post stats about top earners and top gh/s in few hours

This was resolved :)

There was a small error in the earnings calculations which outputed in higher block values so for a while members were earning a bit more :)
Now it is fixed, no balances will be adjusted as its our fault

You need to change your pool to a winning pool. If ur pool didnt get the block, then u wont earn anything.

There are 20 pools now so if the pool you are on didnt found the block you wont earn from that block

There are now more detailed stats on the front page and you can see top 10 hashers(users with most hashrate)

I just wanted to say that I'm really enjoying the game so far, and I have referred a few people.  One of which has the 2nd highest hashrate ;)

Can't quite estimate it now, but it will be about 75-80% of total site revenue including ads and all

Until the issue of mails not arriving in someones inboxes, there will be no need to activate account, you will be able to login, once you register

I do have a suggestion.
I've been noticing that when I click both pools to see the info of my earnings, no matter what one I click it shows me my hashrate and the round info.
At first that confused me, I thought that my hashrate was going towards BOTH pools, and I could gander that other people have thought the same thing.
Maybe you can change it to where it only shows YOUR on the Pool YOU Are mining on, and only shows YOUR round info for the one you are on as well.

So if I am mining on CryptoSpot, it does not show the round info on "Bitpool", and it says "My Hashrate: 0" because I am not mining on that pool.
However, if I were to click on CryptoSpot, it will show all my info for mining.

I changed to the new pool bitpool yesterday and saw that it changed. I logged in today and found I was back in the other pool. IS this a bug? Can the pool owner remove you from thier pool? How was I moved I guess is my question.

His account has been lock for 5 consecutive failed login attempts, there is a live support on site, join me there to resolve this

Nope there is no option for pool owner to remove you from their pool, i also checked the script and there is no bug, site logs show that you switched pool today on block 85

 What is profit per day

Depends on how many users there are, how much GH/s they have, number of blocks mined by the pool you choosed

I have 5gh/s and i earn 80 satoshi every block

Some member bought upgrades from start so now new members earn less and also the amount of members is getting bigger daily
there are members that earn ~0.0004 per block
But this is first month and i am sure it will get far far better, since there are already investments in site so reword next month will be bigger
