Neobit is a Nxt based crypto currency, which solves the biggest problem with current crypto currencies, an enormous entry barrier. Therefore we put our biggest focus on the average user with an easy user experience.

To achieve this we go new ways in the crypto currency scene. You can find any information on this thread or on our official website: www.Neobit.io (http://neobit.io). There you can also see a mockup of the client. It will obviously be much more polished and maybe change quite a bit in the process.

+ For the average user we will have a web wallet, as the normal user will not install software on his computer to buy pizza.
+ You can register a wallet with a name, an email and a photo. After this a random password will be send to your email address.
+ We won’t go into technical descriptions in front of the average user.
+ We will have a big focus on social media functions, as these will also make the usage much easier, like sending money to a friend.
  -- You can follow your friends or have followers.
  -- There is a twitter-like stream with all Peeps (like Tweets) of the people you follow.
  -- You have your own facebook-like wall.

The biggest problem right now is the entry barrier. Crypto currencies are far too complicated for the average user. We want to change this. We want to give an example to every Altcoin and even Bitcoin, so they can learn something from us.

Neobit is based on decentralized crypto currency technology. Connected with a centralized digital company it makes the perfect symbiosis. If you don’t believe it then check out various crypto currencies, which are heavily decentralized. They can’t get their act together without proper funding or time intensive voting procedures.

There are 1,000,000,000 (1bn) XNB in total. At the beginning they will be reserved with the following distribution.

+ 10,000,000 XNB for us (1%). This will give us incentive to continue the work on Neobit for a long time. (We will use 100% of the ICO funds for development, marketing and PR.)
+ 25,000,000 XNB for bounties and services, we will make a foundation for this later on. They will vote on what this money will be spend on. These XNB will be held in escrow, so we won’t have control over it. (Escrow partner yet to decide!)
+ 10,000,000 XNB for a give away (the rest will go to the bounty and services fund). Every user who writes a post in this thread is qualified. Tweets need to be linked. We will count everything at the release of v1.0.0!

That means there are 950,000,000 XNB left for the ICO. There are two locations available to acquire these.

1.)   Via our escrow partner Anon136 (he is a very trusted BTT member and already did many ICOs) (BTC only!)
2.)   Directly from us (NXT only!)

Anon136 posted his Bitcoin address for the ICO (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=921676.msg10127327#msg10127327). If you want to invest directly (without escrow), it is possible to invest only with Nxt (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=921676.msg10135804#msg10135804). You can see our Nxt address at the top. The ICO started the moment Anon136 published his Bitcoin address (January 12, 2015, 05:58:30 PM) and lasts for two weeks. So it will run until Monday the 26th, January 6PM!

There is no purchase limit for a person, as well as no upper cap. The price per token will be calculated at the end of the ICO, everyone will get an integer amount of XNB (no comma amounts). If the sum is odd we will take the missing XNB from the 25M bounty&services fund.  

ATTENTION! We have a specific sum in our mind. If this sum can’t be reached, then we can’t guarantee to make Neobit a reality. As a consequence 100% will be refunded then! This is a very ambitious project and we can’t work halfhearted. Please understand this.

On the other hand, we also want to protect our investors and want that they get a nice profit out of this. Therefore we also have an upper cap for the ICO. When the BTC sum is over that upper cap the ICO will automatically end! With the chosen upper cap it will be no problem to maintain and develop Neobit for the coming years.

The collected BTC will be paid to us after our web wallet is out of the beta stage and ready to use. This will probably be sometime in February. The client is out of the beta stage after it reached v1.0.0. This happens after basic functions, messaging and the asset exchange is integrated and working.

If you invest in this ICO you will not only get the XNB, additionally you will also get shares of our company Neobit. The ICO represents 20% of the company, after the web wallet will go live (with v1.0.0) we will issue an asset for the company. We will execute the distribution of the shares ourselves. This will happen a few days after the v1.0.0 goes live, we will distribute the shares to any XNB owner at that point only. So if you sell them before, you will not get the shares. That also mean, that if you buy in after the ICO you will also get them.

After the distribution we will launch more information about the company goals, you can expect great things! (Payment processor, Investments for games/casinos/mining-bonds/services..)

We do it similar to Viacoin, they didn't announce the ICO end as well. If more people want to know what the upper cap is, then we can announce it at some point during the ICO. However we will not disclosure the minimum amount, as people will then tend to invest only as much as needed. Please understand it. :)

After this the funds will be held in escrow until our team deliver v1.0.0 of Neobit, which will take another month maximum. During this process we will post updates. The team delegates and testers we hired, will probably also post updates in this time.

If you think the progress isn't to your flavour or too slow, you can always get your money back.

We are making a fork of Nxt, with
- an enhanced user interface
- an enhanced public image
- a new (and maybe better) distribution
- a foundation with funds, which can and will move things forward

and all open source, so that at a later point Nxt or other forks can implement them as well. :)

As Anon136 posted his BTC address we will post our Nxt address. Formerly we wanted to post a BTC address also, but as this will be a risk for our users and in the end probably nobody will invest through it, we decided to only accept Nxt investments from our side!

We will calculate the conversion (BTC<->NXT) at the end of the ICO, that means on Monday the 26th, January 6PM! We will take the price of the exchange with the highest volume on that day and time.

When we are at the point, where we distribute the XNB we will send you the brainwallet passphrases via an encrypted Nxt message.

If you want to get your money back, you have to write us a Nxt message as well with the amount you want back. We will then transfer it back as soon as possible.
