Title: Who owns this forum?
Post by: ModsSuckBallz on January 12, 2015, 05:03:05 PM

I contacted the admins and just waiting for a reply.

I hope to get this problem worked out so we can all move on and continue to grow bitcoin.

I think its a shame that this forum has no one in charge....just a bunch of mods that act like kids.

Grow up and help bitcoin grow!

I need to contact the owner ASAP, Please share any contact details you may have...or better yet, Admin...come talk to me please.

I mean how can the "biggest bitcoin forum" not have a admin in charge?  ???

Who owns this forum? I need to talk to the admin and not a mod!

Or is this forum run by a bunch of kid mods?

Code:
The Bitcoin Forum is a website meant to host free discussion of Bitcoin and related topics.
It is operated as a service to the community, and all profit is reinvested into the forum and the community.
It was started in 2009 by Satoshi Nakamoto, the original creator of Bitcoin.
It is now managed by Michael Marquardt (theymos), Martti Malmi (Sirius), and Stefan Thomas (justmoon).
Donated funds are managed by theymos.

theymos is generally considered in charge, but BadBear is arguably the most active admin in the community and deals with bans etc so you'll need to contact one of those two.

Thank you for the info. I will try to talk to them both.

I sent a PM to both BadBear & theymos and I hope I can get this resolved and move on.

I really am here to help make the bitcoin community grow a lot and I am trying to follow the rules but it spun out of control and I am trying to contact the admins to make it all right.

I hope I can continue to help everyone earn money and help new people understand bitcoin on this forum because I like the community but some of the mods a quick to ban people when they should use the PM system to talk to the members first. It would help keep allot of great people from being banned all together.

Thank you community for helping me contact the people in charge.  ;)

Both of them is Offline right now , you are going to wait more time I would say .
Besides it's not that easy to be an Administrator on one of the biggest forums on the internet , they may have thousands of PM's each day so just wait and be patient mate , they will answer eventually or simply answer you once they see the thread

but if you are just trolling and it's not something important , I dought they will answer you

if you look at the op's other thread here you will see that his old account was banned (along with the subsequent accounts he created). He is here to appeal his ban(s).

Based on his username it is probably not going to happen as it shows the lack of respect for authority that he likely has and the lack of respect of whoever responds to his PMs he will likely show.

Yep, I bet they'll discard his message automatically just by looking at the username.

You are allowed to create an account to ask if you can be unbanned. However, you can only post inside Meta and only for this purposes. Everything else will be considered as ban evasion.

If any accounts that he previously used have been banned, then this could be considered as ban evasion as he has posted outside of meta.

Hope they get back to me soon.
If you don't get a response in a reasonable time, then you should take that as a no to your request/question.

Most likely yes, however, that is not for me to decide.

why do you consider a great new service related to bitcoin as "spam"?

I am going a great thing for bitcoin and marketing it in a good way and I leave only happy people in my wake.

I'm a good person but these mods are the only thing holding me back from really making a difference in the bitcoin world.

I am not asking for anything from anyone.

I only offer my help and skills for free and the mods are trying to hold me back.

They aren't holding you back, you are holding yourself back, for not following the  guidelines (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=703657.0) of the forum. It doesn't matter how much of an asset you are to the community, if you don't follow the guidelines you are going to be treated the same as any other person who has not followed the guidelines.

why don't you post the 1st account of yours that was banned so others can take a look and see what probably caused the original ban

I know what everyone will say...

"making multiple posts for the same thing"

but they are not, my service involves creating many bitcoin faucet sites and promoting them. I also make posts promoting my services...free faucet hosting/marketing service, adding faucets to my faucet list, updates about my paid to post bitcoin forum and other updates about my moneyinpjs site.

I am not spamming...I am busy... busy helping to grow the bitcoin community and help people (for free) to earn more money/bitcoin online.

I am just too active of a member for this forum I guess.

I have spent hundreds of hours on this forum only to be treated like sh*t and called a troll.

We need to work together rather than fighting.

We would get more done in the bitcoin world for sure.

LOL when you put it that way it's kinda funny.  ;D

I'm just trying to get one with my projects and keep in contact with my contacts... by using my real account and this is the only way I can get attention from the people in charge.

That's all I am asking for is to unblock my real account karlb187 and I will learn my lesson and move on continuing to contribute to the forum (the right way) and we can let this modssuckbalz account dry up and be forgotten.

From the looks of it, I do see that you had posted a lot. You also created a lot of threads, more then I think most people have.

Briefly looking at your threads, I noticed that some of your posts were solely made to promote one of your other threads or to promote one of your faucets which would generally be considered to be spam

The way I see it is that you had your chance when your main account was banned. Then you tried to evade the ban instead of discussing the reasons behind it and waiting for the ban to pass. You also declared that you will keep evading the ban to be in touch with your customers in a rather ignorant way. My opinion on this might not seem important to you because I am neither staff nor admin, but would I be in BadBears shoes Id say you had your fair share of chances and wish you all the best.

I just get pissed off when I take a good 45 minutes to an hour to make a detailed post and format it to look good only for it to be deleted with no info on why. then see it again and again and banned again and again.

I never once got a PM from a mod to warn me that I was doing something wrong...just a ban that says "spam". That is not a good way to keep people following the rules... Communication is important and these mods are silent.

All this would never have happened if the mods would have sent me a PM to explain why my posts where not good.

I run my own forum and I know it sucks when members post in the wrong area's and such so I want to follow the bitcointalk rules but I don't know why my posts are soo bad. I understand I made a few posts promoting other posts but that's just good marketing so the most people will see it and I;m sure the promo posts where still in the correct areas.

I hope I can come back soon   :-[

...

Every deleted post is sent as a PM to your Forum Inbox and always state the following: A reply of yours, quoted below, was deleted by a Bitcoin Forum moderator. Posts are most frequently deleted because they are off-topic, though they can also be deleted for other reasons. In the future, please avoid posting things that need to be deleted. Ban was usually handled in a different time since only a few staff can handle them; but, they're never out of the blue. Following the rules need You read them before (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=703657.0); not, that a Mod or an Admin have to tell you about first!
If a Cop stop you for speeding I guess what you would argue: Excuse me Mr. Police Officer you cannot give me a Ticket for speeding because You have not told me before that I cannot exceed road speed limits. Obviously, You don't know that to have a driving license you have to know road laws & regulations.

You don't know why your post were so bad because you obviously you have never read the rules before posting (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=703657.0) your spam! If your posts were so good they weren't removed and you were never banned; sadly, this was not the case since you only spammed disregarding forum rules. However, since you claim you own a forum and it sucks when your members are not following the rules try considering why another forum should accept the fact you are asking the freedom to behave like the pain in the arse you despise.

I hope I can come back soon   :-[
