It is meant more to help your numbers than to get a sale but sometimes I see a good video so if your content is good, you may get sales. Better still is the exposure and a boost in views can help with this. Because my site isn't getting much action, but I want to start ordering some of these services, I am offering for the time being the following services at my cost and not making a penny. Well. as I said I am part of the network and personally I use my own Twitter account so I am considered active. What that means is I also tweet, re-tweet, favorite etc. If you buy the 1000, you may get me as one of the followers but chances are you'll get someone who uses a dummy account to simply follow those he is told to follow or favorite those he is told to favorite or re-tweet what he is told to re-tweet. So this user is not "active." He probably won't tweet at all. Basically the account is used to follow others who have purchased followers. If you are looking just for numbers... (example) You have a new business and are sitting there with 35 followers, the 1000 lift is nice because rarely does anyone challenge the "quality" of the people they follow. So if you sent out a coupon tweet or a sale, potential customers may see the 1035 followers and follow you... that is the goal. The "active" followers would appear very real if the "quality" was ever challenged. I haven't been there a year but I promise you I won't have time to keep track of what accounts I followed when and unfollow at a certain point. Honestly, even with bad content I wouldn't unfollow unless I was damn sure I had been following longer than a year.
