We want to further decentralize Spreadcoin by bringing more miners on board.  As such, I have a challenge for each of you.  When you mine your first block with SPR (at ~6.3 SPR per block) and post a screenshot as proof in this thread, I will more than triple your reward by sending you an additional 15 SPR. 

Your account must be registered on this site for at least two weeks.

This will last for 10 days or until 100 people receive the reward, whichever comes first.

I'm trying to figure out the best settings for 290/290x/280x cards, but I'm not really finding any references to speeds achieved anywhere. Do you have any links that could help me out?

I'm only running it on 4 GPUs right now, 2 290x and 2 290. 290x = 2.43MH/s each @ 950/1375 and 290 = 2.25MH/s each @ 950/1375.

First block found @ 3:40 in the afternoon. Still have the 6.38358833 payout... Just wish I would have started sooner!  ;D

That seems pretty respectable to me. My 290's are running just below yours at 2.22MH/s @ 967/1250 and powertune -10 for stability and energy saving. With the cards maxed out @ 1040/1375 and powertune 20 I could only get around 2.36MH/s.

When I first made the offer, the coin was in the low 40k satoshi range.  Now check it out.  And look at the bid/versus ask: https://bittrex.com/Market/?MarketName=BTC-SPR

The dev is improving upon Darkcoin's masternodes.  When that goes live, the rise could be meteoric.

Averaged out over time, you'll still make more solo mining compared to a pool with fees. Blocks get harder to find, but your coins per day on a pool would drop also. Solo >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Pool

I don't mine.  I bought them on the open market.

I own a little over 5% of outstanding SPR which I know isn't healthy for the coin.  As such, I am doing giveaways like this one and a variety of bounties.

I think spreading the spreadcoin mining will be of help if someone post prepared bins for different cards (pitcairn, bonaire, hawaii,...) Installing known bad driver version just to compile bin and than returning back is something that is not spreading good enough...

When I started GPU mining for the first time a few weeks ago I found my first block within 1 minute of starting the miner! Talk about luck! :)

Then I turned it off because I knew it'd take a lot longer to find my next block.
