https://i.imgur.com/7dfyLIK.jpg I usually read it every year. I did not this year, my mistake. Wait at least until August (next Gartner Hype Cycle of emerging technologies). And considering the place cryptocurrencies in the 5-10 years segment to maturity, I think we have one-two years before it becomes profitable. That being said, you shall research and prepare on crypto. Just don't expect it to be profitable. In the meantime, you have ample opportunities to become an expert who could sell his proficiency to companies once crypto become mature enough. .
