I found this forum while searching for information on Virtex.com

I am a registered user of Virtex.com but for the past week I have had problems with the site, similar to others here.

I deposited quite a bit to Virtex.com, made some trades on the exchange, and finally tried to withdraw.
I have both requested money, and also tried to retrieve Bitcoin.
But so far nothing.

They don't even reply to my emails.

When a company is not able to handle basic customer support, doesn't answer emails, doesn't pay out fiat, and doesn't allow BTC withdrawals either, then users start to get worried...

www.cointelegraph.com and www.bitcoinwarrior.net also run these ads, and Coin Telegraph even had a big promotion with Virtex.com a few weeks ago. See here:
http://cointelegraph.com/news/113044/time-to-play-ct-egopay-and-virtex-announce-price-prediction-contest

I know at least one user who deposited heavily in Virtex.com because of that promotion and who is now unable to withdraw. Coin Telegraph should be informed of this, and expose the situation unless they want to be seen as responsible.

Their email is:
drop@cointelegraph.com

and the email for the other site is
editor@bitcoinwarrior.net

Even today nothing new, belonging to the writing appeared on their site (Crypto currency withdrawals are currently limited), so if you have modified the site have also ignored the email to us users and keeping closed the live chat!

so.... where is our money?

It has been more than a week.
I am waiting for BOTH a fiat withdrawal AND a crypto-currency withdrawal.

They are active and working on the site. They are still happily taking deposits from everyone. They are just not answering emails or paying anyone.

I have personally used virtex.com but only small amounts and only depositing using payza or egopay then trade then withdraw to bitcoins. From my experience, deposits from payza takes few hours while deposit from egopay/okpay are instant. Withdrawals to btc took about 5mins.

And last time i had issue with them i was able to talk to their live support chat. Its at https://support.virtex.com/ and you can check at the top Live chat, they have english and other language. But looking at it now, they are offline.

Virtex is also advertised by egopay, okpay, bityes.

Hope you get your issue fixed.

It was working fine for me about 3 weeks ago, my usd deposits and btc withdrawals were pretty fast, but it looks like it is turned into scam now, you can find many complains here and my withdrawals are pending more than 5 days with no response from support.

I haven't got yet my money transfered from payza.

I have problems with Virtex (https://virtex.com). I have deposited 100$ about 10 days ago and my money are yet in pending. I deposited there from payza. They told the money from Payza comes max in 48 hours but are gone 10 days and nothing. And the big problem is that no one answered to my tickets.

I found Virtex at my Payza account and I thought that this site is safe because of this. But because of they above actions I think that they smell scam and Payza must be responsible that collaborate with such kind of sites.

Same here: We file support requests, they send out automatic notifications, and then the tickets are closed.  No action is taken: Virtex.com is currently ignoring all support requests.

Live support is also offline. There are no other ways to contact the company, and of course we haven't yet gotten any response to our withdrawal requests. They have kept our money and we can't get it.

Hello.
Unfortunately, it is not possible to retrieve already sent payment in OKPAY as e-currency is non-reversible. You need to contact the receiver of funds and ask him to transfer the money back to you.

Thank you for cooperation

Payza is the same as Egopay(same owners).
Egopay owned Virtex  :)

Payza removed Virtex in order to not be associated with them :)

After twenty days, still nothing.  No money from them and not a single reply to any of the multiple support tickets.  At least EgoPay communicated via a blogpost: But with virtex.com so far it is complete silence.

Lithuanian scammers.

I am getting seriously annoyed.

SCAM.

Should be in the first post (as now you have to read on untill the last few posts).

Quote
Could not withdraw crypto currency, as 'it is limited atm', right.
Could not withdraw fiat, as 'it is limited at', right.
Minimum withdrawal is $500, right.
I was unable to contact support. Support site gives time-out, riggght.

I would not put my money in there. Lucky me only got a very small amount transferred.

I always thought, you should read user agreement before add your funds and be carefull what you are doing with your funds.
I am using OKPAY for withdrawal from BTC-E and no problems.

Post by: richana on March 29, 2015, 01:45:36 PM
Both egopay.com and virtex.com are now down (and probably gone forever)

If anyone has more info on the crooks behind these two sites, CEO Mantas Gustys and founder Tadas Kasputis, please post here or contact via PM. We are working on getting Latvian law enforcement to pursue the matter since they have so far not contacted any of their users with a proposal to pay us back what they stole.
Thanks to longtime user bitboy11, the heist has already been reported to the FBI.

For sure is scam. If you haven't had your money in the beginning of their end I think it is impossible to have something now. So be in peace and I'm sorry.
