Easiest is to buy straight out.

Second is to mine if you enjoy it.  BTC is so low though buying direct deserves a look at.

Buying would be the easiest option but if you meant earning $1000 worth of Bitcoin than there is no easy way and you will have to earn it the same way as you earn $.

What would be the easiest way to come up with a $1,000 bitcoins?

By order (from easiest to hardest one) :
  • Simply buy them using other payment methods you have (Paypal,Skrill,Neteller,Amazon Gift cards , WebMoney , Wester Union etc..) . Either from "Currency Exchange" section here on btc talk (trusted members) forums or https://localbitcoins.com/
  • If you are experienced on Programming languages or GFX or something , simply offer your services for Bitcoin or just sell some digital goods that you have
  • Enroll in a signature compaign , you can find a list here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=615953.0 , note that it may takes you a lot of time to rank up to ranks like Sr Member or above (which have a decent amount of payment) & also take other time (months) to earn the money from them

I hope I helped you out mate , feel free to ask any questions .

Easiest way? This

Well the way to get rich is by building a reputation then building some website that holds others bitcoins for them and when you have sufficiently many you get "hacked".

Inputs.io/Coinlenders - mt.gox - Silk Road 2 - Sheep Marketplace - Project: Black Flag - bitcoinica - "bitstamp" - etc

Here's a good list of them: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=83794.0
Here's a tutorial: http://www.theverge.com/2013/12/19/5183356/how-to-steal-bitcoin-in-three-easy-steps

lol just kidding, there's no easy way to earn money. You gotta work hard in real life to earn it.

You can also buy an account with a higher member rank (Hero, Senior, etc.) from other members so that you'll earn more in signature campaigns.

Do you mean to buy $1000 worth of Bitcoins, or buy $1000 valued Bitcoins?

If you mean the latter, those days are gone by the way of Gox.  All we have is downward sell pressure nowadays.

If you mean like 5 BTC, then Circle or Coinbase if online, LocalBitcoins if done face to face.

If you mean earn $1000 worth of Bitcoins, then you'll have to work for it.  Sell goods or services, and offer to be paid in BTC.

Do faucets for 1 million years

Wait bitcoin reach sub 100, buy, then wait until it reaches 10k.

Go rogue and do bad stuff(but don't do it because it is not good)

It depens if you mean acquiring bitcoin or earning/winning bitcoin.

If you want to buy there is lot of exchanges to buy depending on where you are from.

If you mean earning easiest may be gambling, but obviously there is a relation bewteen difficulty and risk.

Why a Bitcoin exchange silly!   :D

You can use Coinbase or Circle online, or if you want to exchange it with a real live person, then use LocalBitcoins.

Yes, those are the 2 largest "exchanges" in the US.

If you'd rather do an in person trade, search LocalBitcoins for the most trusted seller, and use the website as an escrow.

Maybe I should clarify myself. I play at a casino that pays out in bitcoins. I have blockchain as my wallet but I don't know what exchanges to use to exchange the bitcoins for US dollars.

Title: Re: Easiest way

What is circle onlines link?

Circle:

https://www.circle.com/en

Coinbase:

https://www.coinbase.com/

LocalBitcoins:

https://localbitcoins.com/

Between those 3 exchanges, that's pretty much all you need.

You may be able to use localbitcoins.com and cash your bitcoins in the fastest way.

Title: Re: Easiest way
Post by: nwfella on January 14, 2015, 09:40:55 PM
Really depends on what you define as easy?

Coinbase works great for US residents if you have a checking account and/or CC (for instant BTC purchases).
localbitcoins.com works great if you want to get your BTC directly from an individual.

Other primary way would be purchasing via an exchange but do your homework before going with just anybody.  As you can see, even somebody as large as Bitstamp and in the past Gox can ultimately end up being a bad call.  (Thankfully this hasn't killed Bitstamp which for me to date at least has been fairly reliable as well)

You can use coinbase as your bitcoin wallet, and you can use it to buy/sell bitcoin if you are in US or in 18 European countries.

If you reach Sr. rank, with current value of BTC, it would take you roughly about 3 years to reach $1000 (Hero/Legendary might mean less time but atm most campaigns pay these about the same as Sr.)
You can try to do work for Bitcoin. Have a look here - http://www.reddit.com/r/Jobs4Bitcoins/search?q=bitcoin&sort=relevance&restrict_sr=on&t=all
I also recently found a site where you can sell photos for Bitcoin. Be advised, this site is NSFW!!  - https://bittit.info/index.php
Good luck!

Easiest way on acquiring bitcoin? Without buying them, it would be improbable, unless you're super good in coding and scamming lol. But if you have the $$$, you can go to a local or online exchanges and just buy those coins. Seeing that the prices are low, you can buy more than the usual.

What is your plan to get the bitcoin? Selling goods and services? Sig campaign? Faucets, PTC and micro task sites?
You may reach your goal in a few hours if you have good skills, but it may takes weeks or more if you are using faucets.

While it is true that price now is ideal for buyer. But then again people are scared of another price drop. That is why bitcoin price can't get over $300 since that crash 2 weeks ago.

Agreed. I made some nice money with clouding mining but I got into it like 5-6 months ago. These days most cloud mining business models are unsustainable because of the BTC slump.

Some companies may have come up with new strategies to try and maintain profitability but I'd suggest that you wait at least a month or two before investing, just to see how they fare.
