Title: Do NOT Double your Bitcoins!
Post by: Bubbsandbubbs3 on January 13, 2015, 02:51:42 PM
Have you considered putting money on a website that says "How to multiply your Bitcoins hundredfold in a day?" DON'T.

These websites are scams, and yes, there is a lot of them. Are they ALL hackers who found a flaw in Bitcoin? Hopefully not! And notice all these websites say the EXACT same thing, but with different domains and addresses.

Second, people have reported bad experiences with them.

Third, why would they even release this to the public? I mean, seriously, 0.9 BTC free in one DAY? Why not just use it for yourself?

Last but not least, (this probably supplies the most evidence) although the payouts displayed on the website differ, the blockchain payouts are ALL THE SAME, which means they probably pay to STOLEN MONEY to one of their partners in crime.

I also truly hope this IS a scam, or else this will crash the Bitcoin economy.

Ponzis. Ponzis everywhere.

Currently, they seem to be rapidly appearing on this forum.

Probably a notable scam ponzi is Cryptodouble which promised 200% of your original 'investment'. They're gone now, with the money that they were given.

The "entrepreneurs" these days... http://bitcoinpyramid.com/ for example is in google top 10. There was a site with ponzi in the domain name! Crazy stuff. Disregard everything they say, do not trust these people with funds you cannot afford to lose. I'm really glad I wasn't stupid enough to give them my coins.

Agree that ponzies are scams. This thread should be pinned on gambling board so that hundreds of people don't loose their money.

Well, the problem is that with majority of those ponzis, people put in fake ponzis, with a good looking thread, and just an address.
This way, people fall for them, and send money to never get back anything.

If there were no ponzies then at least this forum and gambling sections would be a nice place to visit.

Ponzies are scam! And they need to called a scam! They are always interested in running away with greedy people's money. And so this makes them a scam!
Everyone is using this word when its necessary to use it.

Who would double their bitcoin besides a mindless idiot? I can't believe people still fall for that trap.

And if that's the case then you would be really surprised to know that how many idiots are their on this forum. A lot of greedy people invested in ponzies to double their money. When they got scammed then they got to know that its wasn't a good idea to feed the ponzies and so now the effect of ponzie is finally slowing down.

Yes you are right. It is better to invest in reliable investing schemes.

A lot of newbs, greedy guys and smart gamblers are going to this kind of schemes to make a quick buck. A few can have their money double in a few but it stays that at the end of the day, you can never be too sure that the ponzi site will always be there till tomorrow comes. If you like to take the risk, just throw the money that your willing to loose. Its always a SCAM!

By now I would assume people know the game with 'double your coins' but they just choose to gamble on the pretext they wont be the last to deposit and turn profit, but may as well gamble their bitcoins on a dice game, yet they still send their coins in these schemes, it's quite the phenomenon.

Anything that good will not be offered to the public for sure

Of course any website that offers such high ROI (x2 in a few days, 5% daily...) are either pure scam, either ponzi schemes that will collapse very quickly.
It's also available for "mining" websites that offer you btc for free, but you have to pay to withdraw. These are scams, and even if you pay, they won't allow you to withdraw as much or more than what you've paid.

Yes, 100 % scam.
