Title: Ati Radeon R7 260 or GTX 750ti ?
Post by: malekbaba on January 14, 2015, 07:16:21 AM
I know mining BITCOIN with GPU is obsolete. I am interested in altcoin mining

I am a newbie in Crypto industry. Very much interested in mining with a GPU. I can manage Ati Radeon R7 260 or GTX 750ti.
Will I make any profit with a single (any one of the above mentioned) Card ? I have heard GPU mining is nearly obsolete. But I am pretty interested. Please help me.
How much H/s I will get from that two card respectively ?
If I do pool mining, then what will be daily income? I keep my PC on almost whole day long, as I have other members in my home, who use this PC.
What DRIVER and MINER I should use to get best result.

NVidia has some nice devs going for them at the moment, as well as extremely efficient cards... so i would definitely say a 750 Ti or GTX 960 when it comes out.  "Daily income" is impossible to estimate, or even guess.  That depends on what coin you mine (and there are hundreds, if not a thousand), the exchange rates, when you actually exchange the coin, the value of btc.. etc.

No man, even the most efficient card is not going to make you positive profit. Unless you have wolf0's help.

There's no mining at positive for you. Get the card which gives you the most gaming performance and enjoy it. In my reference e-tailer those two cards have very different prices I don't think it makes any sense to compare them.
