We just have to wait 6 years for the inflation rate to be less than the dollar and 10 years for it to be less than gold.  Until then sell it, just an inflation beast.  Please drink sparkling apple cider instead of Vodka.

I'd like to tell you that we're in the process of transitioning from BitCoin to BitShares.
It's low inflation and stable currency assets like BitUSD for business solve both of Bitcoin's main problems.
However BitShares is falling just as much as Bitcoin currently :(

I disagree. I'd suggest people look at alternatives & also question why with all the adoption, investment and development around Bitcoin last year, it has not been able to sustain itself.

Sorry for the OP's loss. The little I keep in Bitcoin and my other options are hurting too.

I'm optimistic about the future of crypto and continue to believe it will change the world in a positive way and that decentralized currency will form the basis of systems that protect life, liberty and property for many people.

Virtual losses. Don't panic sell and you'll have a chance to recover your then non existing losses :). Maybe I'm wrong but BTC is too big to fall this early.

I sort of know how the OP feels. I lost money in the big crash, but nowhere near that much.

Don't panic invest you can't afford to lose.

Nobody is saying it will fall to $0 but if it goes double digits that still is a lot of money to be made shorting this monster! Ask me about 20% per day everyday MIN  8)

This dump to $100 will be the great start to the 2015 pump that will occur  :-*

lol, I can afford the losses but they still fucking sting like a mofo.  Didn't lose quite that much but I think I'm looking at quite a large amount of capital losses because I doubled down on bitcoins when they hit $310 a couple months back...should have dumped them when they hit $360 since I would have basically broke even.

Worst part is that since I mined a bunch of these I have to deal with the tax headaches and possibly even some income taxes.  Fark.

Just gonna hold though since I honestly just set a target # of bitcoins that I wanted to have in my portfolio and I've hit that goal.
