Does anybody have a step by step tutorial on how to do Shamir's Secret Sharing Scheme (SSSS) for a wallet? I am running the normal Bitcoin Core / Bitcoin QT and I have made many transactions in and out, my wallet is also encrypted... but I want to put a percentage of coins in cold storage and give my family members SSSS so in case I get hit by a bus, it will take just 3 of them to get what little I have left. So, anybody... step by step instructions? (Windows or Mac, I have access to both machines) Thanks in advance! Title: Re: Step by step for SSSS? Thanks, I had already googled and searched this site as well (via the search box on top). But there are no step by step tutorials (that I have found) to do what I have asked with Bitcoin QT and I don't want to screw up and make a very expensive mistake when I can come here and ask more experienced folk, who probably do this everyday, for a proper guide where I wont screw up. |
