He's like the jesus of Bitcoin, number one authority, Bitcoin spokesman etc... If there's a single face of Bitcoin it's Andreas Antonopoulos.

When everyone starts dumping coins at that wall things will accelerate/escalate quick. Like always last ones to sell will lose most.

That's bot how markets behave. Just look at the historical chart in logarithmic scale and you'll see that the same pattern occurs everytime: spike followed by a correction. The same is going to happen again, it's just taking it's time. Patience will pay in the end and this is a great opportunity to buy at discounted prices looking forward.

It says here he fell out with the Bitcoin Foundation, and was criticized by lead bitcoin developer Gavin Andresen. I know who Gavin Andresen is, but this is just some guy who worked on a Bitcoin Foundation committee. He's not even a dev and fell out wit the people he worked with. Why should we give a shit what he says?

A bit disappointing from a public speaker. He knows this will be abused and only the "Bitcoin, the get-rich-quick scheme is dead." will hit the headlines everywhere, the second part will be completely ignored by most. "Bitcoin, however is doing fine."

he is wrong, bitcoin will make you rich, maybe not quick but on the order of 10 years if you load up at today's price you WILL be rich eventually.
and the reason for that has less to do with bitcoin and more to do with the fact that the fiat ponzi scheme is near its end, gold is not practical in today's world, there is no viable alternative but bitcoin.

I respect and like Andreas, but if he thinks that the current volatility is not making some rich and quick he should think again.

I hope you guys see that despite the quotes, the title is not something Andreas ever said. Around here one way to get an opinion to agree with yours is to just make it up.  :D
