Title: Multiple computers on one pool, with minimum network overhead
Post by: inh on May 21, 2011, 05:20:19 PM
I have a few computers in my house that I would like to mine on a pool with, but I only want one computer communicating with the pool to limit bandwidth usage. Would pushpool be what I need to do this? Thanks :)

mining generate quite small traffic, unless you build 50+ nodes farm ;)

i have four miners on a $20 switch with patch cables, which then connects to one port on my main internet router.  the bandwidth usage is minimal, and the only time i need to connect a box through the main router is when i do an OS install and upgrade.
