These type of payment terminals aren't new so there's nothing really special about this one, but how do retailers get them for free? It doesn't say. What does the "PEY" mean? It's probably just its name. Probably doesn't mean anything fancy. The terminals are a plastic housing holding a cell phone. The 3D printing of it is probably more expensive than if they would mass produce a plastic mold.
