It seems you need to lookup what a Ponzi Scheme is... then compare that with whatever thread you are looking at. If the thread claims to send you XXX% Back after Y Time then it is probably a Ponzi. If the thread promises to send you XXX% back after it's your turn on the queue to get paid out from the next investors then it's probably just a game. Title: Re: What are all these ponzi offers? Post by: bitbaby on January 17, 2015, 10:05:59 AM You are right, Ponzi or Hyip are fancy names for scams and they advertise so they can lure newbies and/or naive people and believe it or not but people out of greed or whatever still fall for these.

If you send 0.1BTC to lets say FortuneJack or some poker/blackjack site, you don't know whether you will lose that hand, or win, same with ponzis ---- however it's a lot more riskier. Even if they say they are getting 30% profit a day from trading, mining or whatever fancy business, everyone know it is a lie. Ponzies are scam!Do they give you a service to scam other people or something? first time I'm in this section on the forum and I'm really confused lol. they dont provide ant service to scam others but they scam you. only a few lucky ones get their money back but most of the guys loose their money as the website owners tend to run away with the funds. ponzi people tell you that they are gonna scam you but greedy people ignore the clear signals and throw their money in ponzies and loose their money. then they come cribbing that why did they got scammed? they simply got scammed because they were assholes and they ought to get scammed if they invest in such places. And yeah, I knew what a ponzi scheme was when I asked this, just didn't know why they would advertise themselves like that. The worst of all is that it works in some cases from what I see... anybody with half a brain would google ponzi before doing these gambling, at least that's what I want to believe. Anything with Ponzi in the title you should ignore. |
