Post by: matthewh3 on July 11, 2012, 06:08:10 PM Tip for litecoin CPU desktop 24/7 miners: Always use 64bit linux OS and when your not using it say leaving it overnight install the Openbox desktop and start the miner from there. I just did that and pushed my hash rate by over 10% 8) Not sure of the effects on GPU mining as I haven't installed Cuda yet. Also I'm using an old dual core CPU so that might have more of an effect but an increased hashrate of over 10% isn't bad :)
