Title: bitcoin core not syncing? Post by: arklan on January 19, 2015, 08:03:22 AM so, apparently my bitcoin core stopped syncing sometime friday. i'd been working all weekend and only noticed a couple hours ago... it had been running, trying to sync 2 days worth for about 8 hours. is there some network side reason for this, or is it my end? possibly corrupt blockchain?

Hmm , maybe you have internet issues ? Anyway you still can download the torrent file from here https://bitcoin.org/bin/blockchain/bootstrap.dat.torrent Or simply try the version 0.10 RC3 Which is a lot faster in Synchronizing with the network then 0.9.3 or any other version . Post by: arklan on January 19, 2015, 11:24:31 PM tried connecting via my phone as a wifi hotspot. posting from that connection now, so it obviously works... bitcoin core 0.10 rc3 is saying 5 active connections to the bitcoin network, but no block source available. stuck on block 339110.

There's this report: Upgraded to 0.10. Now receiving "No block source available". :-\ Whoops, simply doing a -reindex fixed the problem. Ive uninstalled, reinstalled Core twice. It is not accessing the bootstrap. current machine has bootstrap at user, user, app data roaming. Ive attempted all I can think of, reindex, etc. Any help is greatly appreciated,,,I initially began this from an investors POV. researched my wallet options, chose Amory and ...
