Title: Re: Which Exchange to Check the Price? Post by: 1Referee on January 20, 2015, 02:28:08 PM I always follow Bitstamp, they don't have the highest volume anymore, but it's a great source.
BTC-E is fair as well. Title: Re: Which Exchange to Check the Price? Post by: Flashman on January 20, 2015, 02:39:31 PM The one that makes the most sense is the exchange that you use to buy and sell bitcoins. Seriously. If you can't/won't use other exchanges anyway, you're stuck with that price whatever the hell the market is doing. Though if it's a low volume place, you might get a couple of minutes worth of "lag" on price movements to take advantage of I guess. Title: Re: Which Exchange to Check the Price? Post by: kolloh on January 20, 2015, 03:08:07 PM I've been following bitfinex lately when I am watching the price.
Title: Re: Which Exchange to Check the Price? Post by: ChuckBuck on January 20, 2015, 03:14:19 PM I used to watch Bitstamp since it had the highest volume before, but post hack, Bitfinex.
The best meter is probably to just average Bitfinex and Bitstamp prices together to get a good Exchange price. Don't use Preev.com anymore, because it factors in LocalBitcoins, and that's always way off. Title: Re: Which Exchange to Check the Price?
