Title: 0.45 BTC bounty to kill 51% attack proof BIGcoin (low diff). I'm releasing a bounty of 0.45 BTC to anyone who does a double spend attack against this coin. In other words, 0.45 BTC will be paid to the user who unconfirms a confirmed transaction (12 blocks). In another word, anyone who forks the chain from latestblock - 12 and if that fork is selected as the main chain. Currently the difficulty is very low. It remains between 2 and 4 (Blake algo) Before you attack, you need to specify in this thread which transaction you will unconfirm one day before you do the actual attack. Indeed 51% proof. Actually there is a vulnerability (we call it 'edge attack') which we'll fix in the future; but it's something very hard to commence (practically impossible). |
