Title: China mining farms Post by: soy on January 21, 2015, 06:47:38 PM I see from this Aug. 2014 article that another building was being added. Has that come online? What is the expectation of hashpower increase in China by mid-2015? http://www.thecoinsman.com/2014/08/bitcoin/inside-one-worlds-largest-bitcoin-mines/
Are any more large farm additions anywhere in the world visibly on the horizon? soy Title: Re: China mining farms Post by: ChuckBuck on January 21, 2015, 07:28:51 PM Bitmaintech's Hashnest and Antpool:

Title: Re: China mining farms Post by: alh on February 01, 2015, 08:09:33 PM Nice farms, i wish i had one of those in my control :) I am sure if you had enough real money (say USD), and not just Bitcoin, you could buy them out. The you get to decide how to continue the adventure with Bitcoin currently priced at $225. If that happens, difficulty will come down because of the laws of economics. Difficulty only moves because of more or less hashrate. And the hashrate has increased every month for the last almost 1 years straight. I expect nect month will be higher than this month also, same as last month. Title: Re: China mining farms Post by: BTCish on February 16, 2015, 12:34:56 PM most of the BTC sell/buy deals are speculative, so not a big influence from the miners.

27% 194% 298% 721% 624% but a 9 adjust total not 10 / @ samsonn25 your statement infers endless upward difficulty while that may happen the facts show the rate of upward adjustments has slowed a huge amount since july of 2013 Title: Re: China mining farms Post by: samsonn25 on February 16, 2015, 07:46:54 PM Your key words "upwards adjustment", but it does appear as though the ASIC boom and hashrate has slowed.
July 2013 BTC was $80 and Diff was 26 million. BTC price has increased 3x and Diff has increassed 1800x Title: Re: China mining farms Post by: philipma1957 on February 16, 2015, 08:16:40 PM Your key words "upwards adjustment", but it does appear as though the ASIC boom and hashrate has slowed. As for BTC price I have no idea but I suspect it to crawl along in the 200 - 400 range for a while . |
