Why is it that there are so many account sales threads where someone uses a higher ranking account to sell their alt? You really might as well use the actual account you are selling

I'm using this account for sure and I'm bored with other account of mine. This's why I'm selling it.
If you're a buyer I can send a pm to you from that account and you can check it's history.

Also you're selling several accounts and you don't post with them to your thread. If you post to your topic with those accounts that says "I'm selling this account" I can do it too.

I am not saying there is anything wrong with selling from a senior accoint however the reason people don't use the account they are selling in order to protect its reputation however the account who is doing the selling is somewhat affected as well since some people frown on account sellers although the community seems to be more accepting to the trading of accounts recently.

I think using main account with escrow to sell other accounts&products etc is more reliable. If I was a scammer I would be worried about my reputation. I don't intent to scam people so I'm sure about my reputation. This is why I didn't open a new account to sell it. 

The practice of selling accounts can make some people feel that you are faciliting scammers (which is not true). It is a free market though and you are welcome to sell from this account. I was just curious because I saw a hero account selling a senior account recently
