Title: Need help! Post by: dtroo on January 25, 2015, 09:08:14 PM Hey guys, I just started bitcoin mining. I have the Antminer I got off ebay for 20$. The program that im using is bfgminer. I have a pool and I can log in. I tired adding a device and it dosnt add it. I do erupter:\\.\COM3. Thats where my device is. but yet it dosnt add. I look in the control pannel and USB Bridge thing isnt there. I have a 64 bit operating system and I cant download the 64 bit of the CP210x USB to UART Bridge VCP. I have the x64 but not the x86.

Thanks Its best to avoid using that 20$ miner for mining. Will do you no good as it will never have ROI. Might be fine to learn with though. Title: Re: Need help! There are support forums galore for the S1 just Google the name and you can find all kinds of support for it.
If your first getting into mining, do not let the people saying you will never ROI. To many factors come into play for them to know for sure; Diff can go down which through the calculators off, You might have free power, etc, etc. Your first few miners you will probably take a hit on as you will be using fiat, I did. After you get some BTC in your pocket though you can buy miners for a decent price and make up for it. Good luck. Title: Re: Need help! Unfortunately I haven't used one of the little USB miners for a couple of years now and I can't remember how to set them up. Sorry Title: Re: Need help!
