So, basically the socialist minded have taken over and I'm sure that will do wonders for their recovery. Tell the banks to go pound sand seems to be their only way out but this will drag down the euro and make the usd even 'stronger'. I'm certainly no expert on what's going down over there but it doesn't look groovy.

I've always said the EU would be better without Greece, that may finally happen. Who cares about Greece, anyway? Let them go bankrupt and disappear.

[sarcasm] Yeah, who cares about them - they've already been sucked dry, their shipbuilding and agriculture destroyed through EU directives, their wealth transferred to the Central European powers and to IMF through through "loans", and with Greece having been forced to loan money to Germany, a loan that no one intends to pay back. Now they can simply be thrown away like a used condom.

Who's next? Let's see... Poland? Latvia? Bulgaria? Estonia? Lithuania?

I know it may sound harsh, but I think it would be good if these socialists took things over, then people won't have so much faith in them if they see how badly the socialists can fuck things up too when they don't know what they're doing and I assure you they don't. Many of these people do not think ahead beyond getting elected and then when they finally come to power they don't know what to do with themselves.

Communism and Socialism can't work if the majority of people suddenly decide they don't care about working and don't want to keep the system going and people take more than they give.

Politics are more complicated than that...

It's all a chess game where on every move (of each side) some lose money, some others gain money. And the politicians will always have "friends" among the ones gaining money.

As long as they keep giving me their property in exchange for these virtual tokens I get at zero cost..   who cares?

Don't know much about the Greek politics. But why SYRIZA chose to form the government with the Independent Greeks? Why not the KKE?

The KKE didn't want to form a government with SYRIZA. The communist party doesn't like them and wants to leave the European Union, but SYRIZA doesn't. And there are more differences. : /
So there weren't many other options to form a government and as the priority for SYRIZA is to stop austerity, that only leaves the Independent Greeks.

The European Union is no better than the former USSR! They dictate to other countries what to do and if you don't,
they destroy your economy. The European Union supports Fascism after the entire world united to destroy Hitler in WWII.

At least USSR was pouring resources into its satellites and built their industries in exchange for loyalty. EU sucks the resources out of the newcomers through lending schemes and destroys industries.

No question about it. The USSR was a whole lot better than the EU. That's why the West destroyed it!

Who cares about EU, anyway? Fuck them. Fuck the euro. Let's go back to drachma. Communism is the future.

Oh... so KKE is more radical left-wing when compared to the SYRIZA. But still I don't know whether Greece will be allowed in the EU, if the SYRIZA government refuses to the German bailout payback demands.
