Is the new exchange platform @Coinbase live now, anyone tested it yet?

Price seems to have dropped significantly past 2Hr ?? From $309 to $265

Well yea... People expected the moon, they got another exchange, so, like i said... dead cat bounce...
We will be back around 200 if not lower within 24 hours

I used the coinbase exchange to test it out and all i can say is its amazing. Its pretty but simple and works fast. When you use your coinbase account withdrawals and deposits to and from it are free and instant. It makes trading a breeze. I am glad coinbase opened an exchange and it will definitely help bitcoin in the long run. If you think we are going back to 200 you are wrong of course it jumping 100 in a day is a lot of hype. We will probably settle around 250-275 for a bit

- Yeah, there was a sudden increase in buying volume this morning for sure - No comment on dead cat bouncing, I'm not clever enough for all that TA stuff. I think $250 range would be more likely for sideways action?

 The market increased 40% and you dont have the brains to realise that the traders who bought in cheap are taking profits. firstly, they will no doubt buy back in again around 265/255 and new money will be attracted.

 you were the one insisting 2 weeks ago it was going sub 100 when it was around 160..instead we have had 60% growth and almost 100%` if you use todays high.

I'm still hoping for a more sustained "Rally" to $600+ perhaps this might happen in 2015, who knows brother : )

At time of writing the price is $262, so looks like we might stay in the $250 range for a while longer.

Might be a bit quick on that call but it's not an unlikely outcome
It's already met you at around the 250 level so price will likely keep dropping off for a while.

I bet it levels down to around 225-30 and this won't be this week I don't think. Next, it'll meander up and try 300 again and then consolidate around 260 and then decide what direction it'll go.

Pretty much back at $250 now, but i'm with Chef - reckon it'll slowly head up $250-300 range for the next week. Then, not sure what will happen after that (obvs want it to head towards $500 range ;)  )

But who knows when the next rally will be - could even start again tomorrow?
