Title: PayPal Escrow?
Post by: AdamAnt101 on January 26, 2015, 04:29:48 PM
Hi everyone

I hope someone can help, or point me in the right direction. As you can see I am a newbie. I've had some traders tell me I can load an escrow account with my paypal account to buy to buy from them (which I'm more than happy to do), but I don't have the knowledge of a compatible escrow to use

Adam

Paypal funds are reversible into any manner if they'r loaded by Credit Card, mostly from noobies, people won't take you'r Paypal funds and if you receive an offer I'm a 99% sure it will be from someone tryng to stole you'r funds.

Try to use another Payment method than Paypal.

No you cannot escrow paypal. Maybe you could escrow it in a way, that the escrow hold the funds for 45 days , so it no longer is reversible, and then he releases the bitcoin to the seller.

Thankyou both

I wondered what you thought of virwox and brawker as they seem to have a workaround?

just curious, you send money to sellers paypal account for BTC
Seller receives money, transfers money out of account, then either sends you BTC or rips you off
Complaint to paypal in case of ripoff-> they try to reverse transactions but the money is already gone so unknown course of action

Seller is using fake paypal acct so they can't trace him.

How possibly is this scenario?

please trading with trust people.

That is not an escrow, but a safe way to almost have a guaranteed trade.

Its best to stick to reputed and localbitcoins for using paypal anywhere.
