I never used to like Bitcoin faucets due to the ridiculously small amount they pay, but the sheer amount of ponzi schemes that are popping up are making me like faucets now.
You're at least not scamming anyone, instead you're giving something for free.

Why we cant use our bitcoin adress?

You need to have new user sign up with your link but I'm not sure if it's a daily limit or remain that way until you get a new referral. Only OP can answer that.

Decent payouts, but the fact that it's Xapo only and that it has a max amount of claims are both pretty bad decisions on your part.

Well, even though it has a limit of 5 tries you can make literally x5 the amount of money you would make elsewhere at other faucets, and if you refer another person you can make even more. Shitty that it has a cap, but the net gain is way greater here than elsewhere. One of the better faucets IMO

Faucet is huge but locked to xapo. Is there a reason faucets are using xapo and paying more? Does xapo give you a portion of profit or something?

It looks like it's not a daily limit, but a forever limit. You can only claim 5 times, until you get a few referrals.

I've seen a couple messages, that I need to get 1 referral, and that I need to get 2.

I'm wondering if it's like this:

1. Claim 5 times
2. Refer one person
3. Claim 5 times
4. Refer 2 people
5. Claim 5 times
6. Refer 3 people?
etc

I didn't get the message about needing any new referrals, and tried to claim just now, and it's telling me to wait another 15 minutes before claiming again. I should be on step 5 above.

But a new box opened up after I tried to claim, and had 3 doors, and I clicked one, and it said I didn't get anything, which according to Xapo is accurate. So I dunno what the site's chances are long term.

I think the site's owner should explain what the rules are here and on the site. But I suppose them saying there are limits forever, would stop people from bothering to sign up, so that wouldn't be profitable for them.

Edit: Apparently I was supposed to get paid and the doors are there for a bonus percent, but I didn't get anything. (And I know I had gotten paid from them in the past):

Edit 2: Apparently you have to click the claim button before clicking a door, to get a prize for sure. If you click the doors, you most likely won't get anything.

Lol. As long as you get the referrals. As far as I know, you only get 5 free claims before needing referrals. It is pretty much a Ponzi IMHO, which works out well for those who refer, but not so well when people run out of others to refer to the faucet.

Site owner gets money from visitors signing up for Xapo and/or viewing/clicking their ads.

People visit their site and get 5 free faucet payouts, now they can't claim anymore. They need to refer people to the site, so the site owner gets more money from new Xapo users/new users viewing/clicking their ads. Now those who referred new users can claim again, but a limited amount.

I'm up to needing 5 new referrals, or I'll never be able to claim again.

Like a Ponzi, at some point there won't be the ability to refer people, because there are so many people in the world. Those referring new people these days, are already at a disadvantage in not having as many people out there to actually refer, because they're already users of the site/xapo wallets.


Yes, you're not paying in money yourself, but you are bringing them money and at some point, long term, it will stop paying out because you can only bring in so many referrals.

There's no minimum cashout, you get it in your Xapo wallet immediately (it worked that way originally at least), there are no commissions, as far as I know, I never got any. There are referral links, and you'll only be able to get 5 payouts unless you get people referred.

But supposedly, recently, people aren't even getting paid. I wouldn't know, I'm waiting on 8 referrals to be able to try to collect again.

I got a referral payout from motherfaucet on the 18th of April and since then, nada. I think they run out of funds often but replenish their coins irregularly. There have been some days i have tried to get a payout and got the same error as you did, however, the same evening if i tried getting a payout, it would pay me. Guess they never thought their site would become so popular and had no plans in place to handle the avalanche of requests. I doubt they are a team, looks like one individual who runs the site and he is struggling to keep up after promising such high payouts. Now he is probably hoping that people slowly forget about the site lol!  ;D
