Title: unlike blockchain.info, Coinbase doesn't have a history of hyping hot air
Post by: Second-base on January 27, 2015, 10:55:32 PM

What can we say?

I want to hear what you think might be tomorrow's announcement.

..

I've absolutely no idea.

But they don't have a history of hyping hot air, unlike blockchain.info's habit of insinuating wonders that end up being very exciting for them and no one else.

It seems a bit tongue in cheek to be something truly enormous.

But they don't have a history of hyping hot air

Agreed. I'm wondering why would they would present it like this instead of an update on their blog or a tweet? Seems really strange... makes me want to buy a coin or two today, but I'm resisting the urge as most hypes I've seen previously end up being let downs.

Welcome to Coinbase's new office:

Someone seems to have an axe to grind.

Ulterior motive or just another troll?

Their usernames nearly always point to what their gig is for coming here, so predictable. Most interested newcomers join and then go the discussion area but for some reason the trolls always make a beeline for the speculation since they think they can have an immediate affect on the mindset of those watching pricing forecasts.

I'm too lazy to search for the post earlier that said Coinbase should be called Second-base.

Someone has a hate on for Coinbase.

I personally don't care. I'm out of their area and I have a perfectly good regulated exchange in Cavirtex. Besides, I buy most of my coins off-exchange.

Still, it's curious that someone has a hate for something that should be good for Bitcoin in the long run. A competitor perhaps, or just a frustrated and envious trader who doesn't reside in one of the licensed states?

Can I ask, what has blockchain.info hyped in the past?

Coinbase never make big hype, so i think waiting for their exchange is useless
It's just like waiting for something normal

I better trading at BTC-e
