Due to the downtime and missing stats the last round of advertising will last longer. This might be the reason the next round is not ended.

This has gotten a bit out of hand.
All our bid(s) will expire 11/28 at 11:59 pm EST if the auction is not ended by then.

From what I can tell advertising via signature campaigns are more cost efficient then advertising via forum banner ads. Although you would probably need to put some additional level of effort into it.

It looks like you are offering to pay 3.95 BTC for one 7 day slot. This works out to ~15 BTC per month for one slot. Compare that to the bit-x (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=877765.0) signature campaign - they are spending ~7 BTC per month on signature advertising and they have the ability to better target where their ads are displayed

You can only count posts in certain sections of the forum, you can give additional credit for posting in certain sections of the forum. You can select participants based on their posting history (including where they primarily post).

With forum advertising you need to advertise your banner throughout the entire forum.

My ads are similarly targeted to hardware on a smaller scale, link in Sig.

What are the stats for # of impressions they get versus signature campaign?

That is hard to say for sure. If you were to try a signature campaign on a trial run you could probably insert a goo.gl link to measure how many times people click on your ads by participants verses how many people click on your forum ads.

You will generally pay on a per post basis for signature advertisements, so if your campaign is big enough you could have more then one advertisement displayed on the same thread. On the flip side however if someone visits a particular thread more then once they probably are not going to notice/look at the forum ad at all and your ad could be displayed when this happens (it would be possible that in this scenario, someone wearing your signature happened to post the last post, so in this case they would see your signature ad but not your forum ad).

It looks like that bit-x spent roughly 10.28 BTC this month (January) for roughly 10,200 posts. Here (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=877765.0) is their signature campaign thread, and here (https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1l5o-Y9LFwAntioeVBMUN-RxSNekYPQCDF54aCm2MWLU/edit#gid=636222548) is their google doc spreadsheet detailing how much each participant has posted (look at the tabs on the bottom).

Here (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=615953.0) is a thread detailing all the current open signature advertisement deals currently open.

Thanks for the post.

When will the latest round of ads be up?
